The climate change bill isnt even officially dead (in fact, it was never officially resurrected), but that hasnt stopped a lot of finger-pointing over who is responsible. Democrats and their allies are pointing their fingers at Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., one of the co-authors of the bill, because he walked away late Friday. But is that fair? Not really; the fix appeared to be in well before that. Graham, it seems, was just acknowledging that it was already a goner.

The legislation is not dead yet. Kerry sent out a hopeful press release to reporters Monday evening saying they would defy the cynics. But if it does die, the culprit is, to paraphrase the old Clue board game: Harry Reid, in the Senate backroom, with an immigration bill.

Graham never misses an opportunity to make headlines.
What a disgrace he is.

Reid merely put climate change on the shelf to focus on amnesty. He knows unless he can add millions of dependency class voters to the rolls he (and his party) are toast anyway come November. In this instance self preservation seems to have trumped ideology.

“The legislation is not dead yet. “
They are never dead. They are like vampires that cannot easily be killed.
Only a RINO-free GOP majority can kill it once and for all.

Here’s the good news, for us -
the pundits are saying that they cant get the immigration bill done. The House will wait for the Senate, and the Senate has no bill to push forward.
This needs as much time and effort as obamacare and they used up their political capital and calendar time already.
Voting on an unpopular amnesty bill right before the mid-terms is a great way to lose the Democrat majority.

I thought the 'climate' - carbon foot print - melting ice fields etc. was resolved...i.e., the 'fix' had been exposed and the perps like Kerry and Grahmnesty were also passé.....these long in the tooth politicians are still pushing CAP & TAX....these are the elitists who must be retired...fired!

The EPA is going to run a carbon tax scheme anyway.

Majority Leader Graham and the GOP majority killed the bill.

Democrats are all about power, because with power they can do anything they want. Hence, amnesty is their highest priority. With a majority indentured constituency, they can screw anybody without consequence.
Look at how they just threw seniors under the bus, even after decades of blind support in order to suckle off Social Security. Once they get Latinos salivating over mainlining non-existent entitlements with amnesty, they can pay off their astrobuck financial base with cap and trade.
