The ObamaCare Lies Thicken in Ohio

Take a look at Obama's remarks from yesterday in Strongsville, Ohio. The lies that he gets away with are amazing!

Obama says: “My proposal would bring down the cost of health care for families, businesses, and for the federal government. So, Americans buying comparable coverage to what they have today, I already said this, would see premiums fall by 14 to 20 percent. That’s aren’t my numbers, that’s what the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office says. For Americans who get their insurance through the workplace, how many people get insurance through your jobs right now, raise your hands. Well a lot of those folks, its your employer, it estimated, would see costs could fall by as much as 3,000 percent. That means they could give you a raise.”(President Barack Obama, Remarks of President Barack Obama, Strongesville, OH, 3/15/10)

Here's the thing though, Dick Durbin doesn't believe it. And guess what, there is video proving so:

According to Durbin: “Anyone Who Would Stand Before You And Say Well, If You Pass Health Care Reform, Next Year's Health Care Premiums Are Going Down, I Don't Think Is Telling The Truth. I Think It Is Likely They Would Go Up, But What We're Trying To Do Is Slow The Rate Of Increase.” (Sen. Durbin, Floor Remarks, 3/10/10)

Oh, and Obama endorsed a bill that would raise premiums... That's right, Obama Endorsed Senate Dems’ Bill That Would Raise Premiums For Americans Purchasing Insurance Individually. “CBO and JCT estimate that the average premium per person covered (including dependents) for new nongroup policies would be about 10 percent to 13 percent higher in 2016 than the average premium for nongroup coverage in that same year under current law.” (Douglas W. Elmendorf, Letter To Sen. Evan Bayh (D-IN), 11/30/09

On Monday, a thread post mentioned MAO-bama had only 200 people attend his rally.

Any local newspapers confirm this turnout?

Glenn Beck today stated that the Cleveland Clinic issued a statement asserting it had a $100M fund to cover hardship cases. The lady Obama stated was worried about losing her house because she could not pay the Cleveland Clinic qualifies under the hardship policy.

I have yet to see anyone in the MSM call Obama out on the 3,000 percent comment.

Everyone knows that a number can never decline more than 100%.

Can you imagine if Bush had said that some amount was going to decline 3,000%? If he had, then Jon Stewart, Rachel Maddow, Bill Maher, etc. would have math professors on their programs, explaining this concept, and hinting that Bush wasn’t smarter than a 5th grader.

But because Obama went to Harvard and is allegedly a “constitutional law professor”, he’s allegedly smarter than all of us, and will not be called on this idiotic statement. Since he’s a good liberal radical type, nobody in the MSM will mention this at all.

Not only does this woman have top of the line free health care, but she's also free from any leans on her property because of the charity.

Oboma LIES.

Just think, if ObamaCare included meaningful tort reform healthcare costs would drop another 25000%.

I was listening to Midnight Radio Network last night - and they were having fun with this ...

They were saying if a company spent $1M on health care and could lower its preniums 3,000% ... would the Obama be sending the company a $29M "refund" check ???

LOL !!!

" the Cleveland Clinic issued a statement asserting it had a $100M fund to cover hardship cases. "

I doubt they have that much $$, but many many hospitals do hardship cases all the time. I mean major stuff on a daily basis.

Yes, the Cleveland Clinic does have the money. It's a huge charity clinic.

Forced taxation is a false type of altruism, and people resist because of it. When people are asked to give from the heart, they'll give in much greater amounts.
