Do you feel the incessant need to blame Republicans for all the evil in the world? Do you breakdown into fits of crocodile tears? Do you constantly say that America must be unified to defeat Democrats when were already unified against the liberal agenda? Do you feel that a third party will solve all of Americas ills? If youve answered yes to any of the above questions, then youre likely a Becker.

Sorry Chris but I have been pinged to way too many threads today regarding Glenn Beck. I do watch his program but I a not a ‘Becker’. However, I said the following..
Is today Bash Glenn day? Sorry, I didnt get the memo :).
And that’s all I have to say about that :o}
Whatever. Please don’t project your lifestyle choices on to me.
I absolutely agree with that, but continuing on this crusade isn't accomplishing anything right now. He should be pointing out the productive things now.
You went personal first.
Try to foist another McCain on me, and you’ll find out who’s a Becker.
Believe me when I say...”I’m so done with Glenn Beck.”
I like Glenn. I also like Levin, Rush, Laura. They all are different and they each come from different angles.
There doesn’t have to be a 3rd party. How about the top DC GOP bigwigs change their tune and not ask us to get excited over the next RINO they have already prechosen for us, Like...uh, lets say Romney.
His turn, right GOP?
He’s aping all of the so-called snobby intellectual newspaper elite. He has never mentioned Buckley. It’s mostly aimed at Joe Klein.
But FWIW, Buckley and Will fit the category as well.
The American people don’t want an Obama or McCain. They’re doing just fine without someone yelling root out the corruption.
On Beck’s radio show today he said is absolutely against a [conservative] third party and that the only way to set things right is by working within the two party system we currently have — he simply wants the Republican Party to be reflective of conservativism which all to many in the Republican Party do not reflect: McCain, Graham, Collins, Snowe, etc.
I agree completely.
FWIW, late last year I though Beck may have been in the early stages of pushing for a third party but it appears that is not the case.
What productive things? I don’t see any productive things yet? Hopefully, they will stand up to Obama and not lose their “way” again. But IMO, if they do stand up, it can be credited to people like Beck and the Tea Party crowd who set a fire under their feet, and let them know the “same old same old” won’t win them reelection.
Nothing wrong with his logic if you think in terms of longterm strategy of allowing Carter to win vs. the momentary satisfaction of a Ford victory.
Conservatives are better off with Obama than they would have been with McCain; I have no doubt about that.
Are you a Bennut?
Thank you.
If people find him so annoying, why do they watch?
Interviewer: “Are you a Mod or a Rocker?”
Ringo: “I’m a mocker”
>>He has never mentioned Buckley
Well, he doesn’t have to.
He’s ripping of Buckley’s television style totally including the stammer and hesitations. Imitation is the best form of flattery and its his call, but to someone who loved the intellectual heft and debating of Firing Line, style needs substance.
He speaks to the American people while writer33 only entertains FReepers all in a lame attempt to deify Rush Limbaugh.
It’s a free country (still). Whatever makes you happy I’m fine with.
