Good..he’s just given her an excuse to back out of campaigning for him before the primary. Screw him.

John McCain has a wry sense of humor. He'll say things in a joking, sarcastic way.

So I don't believe this at all.

I finder it harder to believe all the time that this guy didn't survive the Hanoi Hilton by playing ball rather than hanging tough.

Maybe he's just gotten soft with age.

Either way, he's next to useless to the nation now.

Sarah should have stayed out of this race. The best thing she could have done(Damn I wish I was advising her because whoever is advising her now are idiots) is issue a statement and say this..

“As you all know, John McCain is up for re-election in Arizona for Senator, he will be going against JD Hayworth(Lets pretend he’s running). Many have been waiting for me to issue a statement saying who I will endorse but after a lot of consideration, I have chosen to endorse neither candidate because I have great respect for both of them and I am torn between both candidates. I have explained the situation to Mr. McCain and he understands fully. It is up to the great people of Arizona to decide who they want to be their Senator and represent them. Do research on both candidates and see which one represents you and your ideals. The best of luck to both candidates. May the best man win” See, was THAT so hard. That way, both sides are happy, and everyone would understand why she did that. That is why I should be her advisor

i think sarah is in a bad spot- she would get hammered in the media if she didnt campaine for him— she really stuck up for him in her RNC speech.

Anyone watching Leno knew McCain was referring to Palin. She has more of an impact of the GOP than anyone McCain did name.

Personally, I think it's a mistake for Palin to campaign to McCain in AZ, but she's being gracious for having been catapulted to the national stage. She's allowed to show her gratitude, I suppose, but if she ever gives him this kind of support in the future then I've got to wonder about her....

He is not showing the character America likes.

Keep your fire on McCain. Let Sarah be. No need to put the focus on her.

Considering the pathetic campaign he ran, which helped us get stuck with an incompetent ideologue for the next 3 years, I’m surprised McCain even shows his face in public.

Yet sarah palin will be campaigning for McCain’s reelection in November?

She should campaign for the true Conservative who is running against him.

So why Sarah?

I am totally flummoxed on this one.

I have been caught off guard which is unusual for me.

I am not overjoyed hearing about this.

Nice try, though...

Send him a post card, as I have already done, and will again, and suggest that he save face by announcing his retirement from politics. He can earn a lot of money on a speaking tour, if he even needs to make money. I’d hate for him to be the Primary Candidate that brings Sarah Palin down.

Although Rick Perry may end up being that Candidate.

Not cool. I have been one defending the inevitability of her having to go throughthe motons of endorsing him but this is weak.

McCain is beyond contempt for co-authoring McCain-Feingold. And, even today, he won’t admit the error. Scr*w McCain forever.
