Here is a bright idea. Take a gaggle of the most dangerous terrorists in the world, move them from a very secure holding facility in Guantanamo Bay (Gitmo) and transfer them to a prison in a sleepy little Illinois town. This is the brilliant plan of U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. Currently, a board is meeting to put its stamp of approval regarding the transfer of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM), the admitted mastermind of 9/11, and a number of other Gitmo detainees to the Thomson Correctional Facility in Thomson, Illinois. The Mayor of this sleepy little hamlet is all a flutter. "It'll bring thousands of jobs to the area," said Mayor Jerry Hebeler. What Hebeler failed to address is the fact KSM and his band of killers will attract like-minded individuals to his sleepy little town, nestled away in northwestern Illinois.
Illinois Governor Pat Quinn reportedly will have the final say on whether the transfer will take place. But let's say the move is a fait accompli. U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin and every other Democrat in Illinois have fallen all over themselves touting how the new high security federal facility will make Illinois a better place to live.
I don't know who originally came up with the bright idea concerning the Gitmo transfer to Illinois, but ...

I'm not sure Al Qaeda thinks these terrorists are worth having released. If they did, we would have had hostage situations already.
The bad guys want to inflict harm on civilians and care little for their bretheren who were captured.

Nuclear plants are well-defended and harder to destroy than people think.Inside jobs always happen at some point in time.
Yeah. I was getting drowsy just reading the article...
I don’t think that a terrorist who is acquitted on a legal technicality is going to be getting a job inside a nuclear plant.
Of course, I never thought that an admitted Marxist would ever be President, so I could be wrong! :)
