The mass murder of 13 US soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, two weeks ago was an important test for President Obama concerning his competence as commander in chief of the US armed forces. Unfortunately, he failed it badly.
When former President Bush heard about the killings, he and his wife Laura drove from their home in Crawford to Fort Hood and spent hours visiting the 28 wounded soldiers. Contrast this with Obamas behaviour. He was scheduled to meet American Indian leaders at a Tribal Nations conference in Washington. A real leader, upon hearing of the worst terror attack on US soil since 9/11, would have cancelled such a minor event and rushed straight to Fort Hood to comfort the wounded and meet their families. Soldiers come under the presidents direct command, and their wellbeing is his responsibility. Instead, Obama traded good-natured banter with the Indian leaders. Only a few minutes into this meeting did he mention the murders in general terms and carefully avoided mentioning the T-word, as the Obama administration has officially eliminated the term war on terror from all official statements. Then he returned to talking about something he was clearly more comfortable with: minority politics. It was only a few days later that Obama made the trip to Fort Hood when he attended the memorial service for the murdered soldiers. Even some liberal pundits in the media thought that Obamas first reaction demonstrated appallingly bad leadership.
How should President Obama have reacted? Imagine if a US Army major had walked into a welfare office in Chicago and jumped up and started shouting white supremacy slogans and then opened fire and gunned down 13 black welfare mothers and wounded another 28 before being shot by police. Then imagine

“I’d like to give a shout out to my main tribal homie and good friend Big Chief Firewater, yo.”
I asked the same question a week ago. What would the media be saying if the killer’s name was McVeigh instead of Hasan? They’d probably be referring to him as right wing, extremist, part of a large network of violent racists, influenced by “hate radio”, etc. etc. etc. Instead...crickets...
The European media is not pulling any punches with the One! Why didn’t our media ask this question...never mind.
Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think thats worse.”
If a Southern white conservative had done it, they would already be going door-to-door confiscating guns from the innocent.
The media would be in complete hysteria. Any white male carrying a BB gun would be described as a right wing militia white racist terrorist, bent on killing bros and homies.
McVeigh was the fall guy in the OK City Bombing and Klinton/commies did not want the trial leading to the islamic terrorist orgs investigated. The FBI actually stands for the following, “First Bunch of Idiots.”
Ever wonder why McVeigh was executed so promptly and the 9/11 terrorist are still in possession of a pulse as of yet?
All the elements of proof of a islamic terrorist attack are viable in this case. The media and obumo’s boi “holder” will paint it as a case undue pre-deployment stress.
We should never allow the enemy to infiltrate our military and law enforcement agencies. They proudly proclaim to be muslims first in any situation.

It’s kinda remarkable to see a European media outlet make the case (indirectly) that George W. Bush is more of a President — even out of office — than Barack Hussein Obama will ever be.
Not much of a standard. Bush was a way too soft a commander. He should of had his desk drawer stuffed with removed General Stars and Colonel birds.
This is Texas. Snowball's chance of gun confiscation happening here. The last time it was tried, we kicked Santa Anna and his Mexican army back across the Rio Grande.
I do, however, agree with your premise. And I have a question for all. What is the motivation of the state-controlled media to cover up for radical islamics? Is it perhaps because they do not want to dishonor the religion of the Muslim-in-chief? Inquiring minds want to know!
Not disagreeing, but it makes me wonder what the Muslim-in-chief should have stuffed in his desk drawers?
I got’ah drink a better coffee.
Under the current regime, Glenn Beck and Rush would be in Gitmo right about now....
