What the Zot Party Express is doing is Zot-a-crisp and Zot-bigious!

This idea of freedom of speech is going to far with this Tea Party Express. White people in RV driving from city to city disrupting the townhouse meetings. Everyone wants and needs healthcare but the wealthy wants tax cuts, they can pay for healthcare for themselves and others. It won't stiphened their income. I think President Obama's Healthcare reform is great it allows people who can't afford healthcare to have it. That what the Hatians do. It's not socialism it's called taking care of your country so we can stand strong against the enemy. This capital government is a mess, Let me get mines and bump everyone else. WHERE IS YOUR HEART?

From my experience (however old) in Europe, one is more respected when one doesn’t dance around a subject.

I suspect I learned this the easy way...with helpful natives!

(You GO Guy!)

While I'll agree that its not being worn by Michelle does increase its value, I don't think I'll be needing a handbag.

I own a Japanese "man-bag" given by a Japanese friend. Seems like a good idea in some ways and I have Japanese and European (and middle-Eastern?) colleagues with same... it might well be better than organizing my pockets, but I am not quite there yet.

The window is open and I can hear the rain starting...

Maybe, but I still don't like discussing politics in the workplace.

In this case it may be good, though. I made a statement I will not back down from, and they can make of that what they will. (And most of the likely perceptions will be true enough.)

No one in Europe wants a “friend” who is not willing to back up a concept. I learned this the hard way...I was married to a “man” I had to “explain” to the locals. Not too much fun when the mayor was asking the questions.

I'll accept a "man-bag", in my size, when they can pry my computer mouse from my cold dead finaglers.

Jackie is a competent barber. Sometimes my wife bribes her to make me look presentable.

"Jackie is overpaid...."

Not really ...

This rendering is not entirely accurate. I have somewhat hairier eyebrows than this.

Also, I do wear glasses. That changes a man's appearance.

I went there for work. I drove 426 miles round trip in 6.5 hours. I spent 20 minutes on site.

Morning, y’all. I’m away from the kitteh teknolojies this morning, using the laptop in the living room.

I was in a serious accident on the way to Weight Watchers last night, so I didn’t get my Gold Star. A man pulled into my lane on a winding 2-lane road. Don’t know if he was sick, on drugs, or just tried to pass like an idiot. Couldn’t pull off because of the drop - I’d have rolled the van - so we collided head-on.

I have a sore shoulder (left), a scraped knee (left), and a bruised ankle and foot (right), and some other bruises on my hands and arms. They x-rayed the foot at the Emergency Room last night, and nothing’s broken, but it hurts like bad grammar and I won’t be running for a while. (FReep!) Frank and Sally were with me, and they’re both fine; they were just frightened briefly.

The front end of the van is totally gone. DP will be working with the insurance companies to get us something to drive. The other driver was more seriously injured - he was complaining about serious pain in a number of body parts during the ambulance ride - and/or was already pretty stuned before the collision.

I do too. I hated to give up my barber of a quarter-century, but for reasons I had to. LoM persuaded me to go to her hairdresser, a Persian lady who used to work in some chain but now is on her own. I came out of the chair looking 10 years younger, LoM said (it was a huge improvement!), and I've gone ever since. She does a superb job with my beard.

The van can be replaced -- it's just good news that you'll be fine!

I was in a bad smashup a long time ago and didn't get out of it quite as well, but the pain went away after a year (+ treatments) and fear for my neck a few years after that.

I hate jetlag. The house is pleasantly cool (I had to go put on a sweatshirt), it’s still night, I hear the rain... but I’m up and awake. *\8^(

How about a truck?

It'd fit all your kids, could haul enough groceries, the price is right, and you wouldn't have to worry so much about those pesky head-on collisions.

Glad you guys are ok...
