I heard 1.5 million estimate from ABC. Thats what they’d admit anyway. I was there from 8:30 on so I can believe at least that number.

According to a British news source, who actually checked with the Washington Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency, the number was near two million. The two million number comes from the Washington Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency.
Read the story again. The two million figure is not actually attributed to Homeland Security. What the Daily Mail did was take an Associated Press story that had a lede saying "tens of thousands" and write a different first sentence to say two million. They then follow with the reference to Homeland Security. Neat trick.

I think you are wrong. Penn ave is 200 feet wide and 1 mile long. 200 * 5280 = 1,214,140 square feet/ 44,000 feet in an acre=27.6 acres * 22,000 people per acre 607,000 people just in ONE shot of a full street. The street was full for many hours. It is entirely possible there were between 1.5-2.0 million people there.

Actually, the first draft of that letter, originally posted on ABC's own website... was as seen in the Daily Mail article. A "sanitized" version then came out reading "Tens of thousands...", and
that was picked up and then parroted by both the Obamabot alphabet soup media
and FOX News.
Why on earth did FOX sell their souls on this one? They were doing so good telling the truth, and now this. Very disappointing.

43,560 sq. ft. in an acre gives 24.24 acres
2 square feet per human requires each person occupy a square area that is 17" on each side.
Possible, but extremely tight.
Try taping four 8 1/2" x 11" sheets of standard copy paper together to make a 17" x 22" sheet and stand on it .
That's 2.6 square feet and yeilds 16,753 per acre or 406,092 humans in that 200 x 5280 area -
- but very few of them have room enough to tie their shoes.

Your math allows two square feet per person.
The reality is, tight pack standing, (very rare) is 4x2 = 8 sq feet.
Regular pack standing, 5x3 = 15 sq feet.
Normal walking, 5x4 = 20 sq feet.
