The Van Jones era is now over. Under the cover of weekend, and cloaked by a cloud of misinformation and blame-shifting, Van Jones has resigned as Green Jobs Czar.
The money quote: "On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me. They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide." Given that Political Castaway has been negligent in writing anything about this man or his record of radical activism, perhaps now is the best time to review that record in light of that quote.

Glen Beck waited 2 1/2 hours before he reported the Truther claim for the WH to explain it and crickets. Ironic that the Truth took down a Truther.

This guy was hung with his own rope. How can Beck have used lies when he basically presented excerpts from the guys own speeches?
By next weekend, he’ll be running blockades with Cynthia McKinney.
Still it was heartening to see the President stand by someone he felt would make an important contribution to the country and not just throw the guy under the bus...thump thump.

Thank you Glen Beck and Rush for making it known what kind of monster Van Jones is. I thank all conservative talk people with the exception of the liberal appeaser, O’Reilly. O’Reilly is too much of a ratings chaser and squishy on liberals.
