Newer wife dressed in black behind older model dressed in white.
(The only one wearing white at funeral, and what does this picture tell . . . .?)

“What does this picture tell?”
Both have better taste in clothes than men.
I could not bring myself to entitle this “ Victoria Kennedy Scowling At Original Wife, Joan.”
That she’s not too sad the old lecher is dead?
Ha! Joan looks surprisingly good, behind those big glasses, given all her troubles. But she does look something like a liberated ghost there, doesn’t she?

Winner winner waitress sandwich dinner.
Anyway, I think she was definitely trying to send a signal here, women can do that with clothes more readily than men can.....
I would think that the annulled wife should wear black because she was Black Listed, by the church.
I mean, when it has been pontificated that your marriage was “nada” by the Boston Bishop, shouldn’t you always wear black (like the Scarlet Letter) to remind people that your children are . . . (there is a movie out now with Brad Pitt which describes such kids)
I have respect for the Catholic Church but not when you can slick willy your way out of marriages through annulment$.
BTW I have a lot of good Catholic schooling behind be, but not half as much as Nancy Pelosi got.
#2 wife is not looking at #1 wife. She’s looking at something farther away, so your entire premise is incorrect. Plus, Joan is wearing white because that’s sort of her “trademark”...goes with her extremely blond hair I guess.
I am thinking that Joan, although many would think is dressed inappropriately, looks freer, surrendered, purer, and redeemed. Very unKennedy-like.
She has been through h-e-double hockeysticks, but has proven to be a survivor. Look at her bio.
The question is how free? Tell all book ?????
I have a good friend that is on the tribunal for marriage annulments, and I asked him how hard was it to get an annulment. He said that if you fill out the paperwork, it almost always granted. The whole thing is a farce, just like the funeral service for Kennedy.
The opposite of mourning. She’s finally rid of him. Wiping the slate clean and starting over again.
Looks like she took on white many years ago........as a sort of public statement that she was NOT guilty of her husband’s transgressions. I find that interesting. they were both alcoholics.
Must be true because she was invited to the funeral.
