Digg is a place for people to discover and share content from anywhere on the web. From the biggest online destinations to the most obscure blog, Digg surfaces the best stuff as voted on by its users. You can change that and you can help promote conservative content on Digg by digging conservative articles.
Everyday, I'll post a thread with a link to a list of conservative news stories, editorials, and videos that conservatives on Digg liked. I encourage you to join up at Digg and vote for these and other conservative articles. The more votes conservative articles get, the more people will see them and be exposed to information outside of the mainstream media.
We can't change the content, quality, or accuracy of the news that the liberal mainstream media presents to the sleepwalking public. We can however influence the content, quality, and accuracy of the articles on Digg.com and in so doing put the truth in front of the same audience.
Please don't feel that digging articles at Digg is a betrayal of your loyalty to or efforts on FreeRepublic. I believe that FreeRepublic is a way for us to influence the conservative political discussion on a national level. National talking heads and politicans read the articles and comments at FreeRepublic to gauge the conservative consensus on some of today’s most important issues. So your presence on and contribution to FreeRepublic is very important and promoting conservative content at Digg won't change that.
And by contribution, I don't mean just your opinion, valued as it is! Bump the FReepathon and pledge your financial support today. Even if you can do only $10/month, do it. You won’t miss the money. It’s the cost of one workday lunch. One! Would you give up one lunch in trade for the ability to influence the political conversation on a national level? Of course you would! So do it. I’ve argued up, down, and around with the libtards over there. I haven’t been suspended or banned, yet. I’m not encouraging people to go bury liberal stories or attack liberal comments. I’m simply encouraging FReepers to help promote conservative content by digging conservative articles. They don’t even have to post a comment at Digg.com unless they want to do so.

Digg is COMPLETELY biased towards liberal ideas and articles. In fact if you are not a liberal, you risk being banned for life, like me.
So much for freedom of thought and expression and having an open mind!
If you start making blanket statements about "libtards" and "Obamabots," however, you're likely to get "buried." Not very fair considering the trash people get away with talking about conservatives over there, but that's the way it is.

Yes, Digg is completely biased toward liberals. That’s because their members are liberals and they vote for liberal articles.
If conservatives join Digg and vote for conservative articles, then those articles will make to the front page and most popular section. It’s possible to influence the content on Digg.
Just digging conservative articles will not get anyone banned from Digg. If you start burying articles and comments and engaging in heated discussions, you run the risk of being banned.
Getting conservative information in front of the sleepwalking public is a good thing. Don’t give up.
Digg and Reddit are liberal to the core. Both are filled with anti-religious, anti-conservative posts. It’s fertile territory for ACORN members, community organizers and town hall union disrupter types. It’s a superb news source (eyes rolling) for alphabet news media and liberal talking point people.

Just digg the conservative articles. And if you feel like it, post some conservative comments on those articles and talk to other conservatives about their opinions.
You don’t have to engage the libtards. You can ignore them. The whole idea is to get real information in front of them so they see something other than what the MSM wants them to see. Don’t think of digging as fighting with liberals. Think of it as slapping the MSM and taking some of the wind out of their sails.
YES! That's why it's a great opportunity for conservatives to influence the debate. You don't have to read the garbage that the liberals over there are spewing. You don't have to engage them.
But if enough conservatives digg articles, we can effectively influence the quality of the information that they see and read. It's a significant opportunity to counter the MSM, please don't discourage others from participating.
I lived in a freshman college dorm for one year. It was all I could take. I have no desire to go back the same environment online and deal with the same obnoxious losers all over again.
I’m not asking you to deal with obnoxious liberals. You don’t have to read their comments. You don’t have to respond to them.
All I’m asking you to do is vote for an article at Digg and then leave. That’s it!
Digging conservative articles is the same thing as FReeping a poll. If you would vote for an opinion poll to influence the results, then you should digg conservative articles. It’s the same concept with the same goal.

LOL. I thought I was the only one out of two billion users who concocted such a dastardly scheme.
I’ve been banned from Digg twice. The first account I gave up on, but with the second I sent them enough emails that they let me back on. Both of those bannings were for posting anti-BHO material. The fact that I usually put links to my site in made it slightly less defensible, but the fact it I was reported by others not because of that but because I wasn’t a BHO supporter.
The reason I fought for those accounts is because they used my domain names. If you aren’t doing that, there’s no reason not to simply get a new account if you’re banned. There are various ways to use different IP addresses if that’s an issue.
It’s unfortunate that some here don’t realize that there’s a big world out there and that voting down a rising article - as long as it’s false - and leaving a comment pointing out how it’s false can stop a meme from spreading. Instead, those people apparently think they’re somehow immune from stories that start on or are spread by Digg.

I would go further to say you should read the comments and digg up or down accordingly. Report anyone offensive -- and I mean offensive, not just people you disagree with.
The libs come in later on after we digg articles up and try to take over the comments. I've noticed this on older stories.
I agree with you but it’s like pulling teeth to get FReepers to digg articles. If I can just get us over there to vote, I’ll consider that progress. We do have a few brave FReepers who will go mano e mano with the liberal diggers.
FReepers, if you’re up for it, please do review article comments and digg or bury them.
