"We applaud GEICO and all of the other companies who have stepped forward to pull their ads from Glenn Beck," said James Rucker, executive director of ColorOfChange.org. "Beck's rhetoric is dangerous to the fabric of our democracy, and we are heartened that so many big companies feel the same way. We won't stop here -- we're going to continue our fight to see that as many of Beck's advertisers pull their support as possible."- - - - -
Fight fire with fire! How many of us have Geico for our

Pingin' my General Interest AND Texas Lists cuz I thought you'd wanna know! ...
Ping! Ping! Ping!
Any organization that wants to alienate over half the populous isn’t very savvy. Just ask the Lame-Stream Media.
God, I do love a great backfire when I see one. Beck, Limbaugh and the shrieking leftists attempting to silence them by pressuring capitalists who rely on the great unwashed mobsters of middle America to buy their products. This is a trifecta of quality entertainment. Louis B. Mayer couldn’t produce something this awesome.
Starve the beast folks......vote with your dollars. Socialism is a virus that feeds off your money. Do everything you can to keep your coin spent aiding only conservative companies an organizations.
Barter. Vs buy if possible as money is this criminal administrations life blood. Shut THEM down an show support for Glen Beck by subscriping to his podcasts an sending messages of support via fox an his web sites etc an as Meek has suggested ....send trash like geico packing if your insurance is with them
Do it today !!
Got my vote. Forget Geico!
What do they have to worry about? We quit buying newspapers, magazines, stopped watching TV and movies and those industries are doing just fine - well, not really - they're going under... (take that you liberal elites)
When union goons went after Walmart, we started shopping there - and Walmart's doing just fine. So - bye-bye Geico - don't let the door hit the lizard on the way out...
Thanks for the ping!
We've been friends for a long time, and during those years, we never discussed our political leanings. He's black, and I'm white. I actually met him and his wife while doing historical research on the 55th Massachusetts, the second black regiment from that State during the Civil War. His grandfather was a Sergeant in the regiment. I live in NY State, and we met a few times in D.C. when I was there doing research. I've also met his aunt (101 years old), his children and some of his grandchildren. I haven't seen them in years, but we still send Christmas cards, occasionally talk on the phone, and he periodically sends me an email, usually jokes.
During the last election cycle, he started sending me messages about the Obamas, and some anti-Bush jokes. I guess he assumed that I was a Democrat. In a phone conversation last summer, he mentioned that he had been working on getting Obama elected. I never said anything in response, just kept silent. Up until the mailing yesterday, I never bothered to write anything back when he'd send me a pro-Obama message. I deleted the "Putting an End to Glenn Beck's Racist Antics and Apocalyptic Rhetoric" email message he forwarded to me into the trash, but it bothered me most of the evening and into this morning.
This morning, I finally composed a message to him and said that we'd been friends for a long time, and in that time, we never discussed our political leanings. I originally thought of writing that I was an evil Conservative, but decided against it. I didn't mention that I was a registered Republican (not that that means anything today), or a Conservative, and never mentioned Obama's name. I simply asked him not to be offended if I asked him to remove my email address from any emails he chose to forward to others that consisted of political messages. I then brought him up to date on what was going on with my two sons, and told him I hoped he and his wife were having a good summer. Short and sweet. If I never hear from him again, that will be okay, because then I will know that he chooses his friends based on their political beliefs.
Only idiots would buy insurance from a company that uses Geckos, Cavemen and other bsers as their spokespeople with a critical product like insurance.
Is Progressive one of the companies?
Wish I did so I could cancel them. But I’m going to stop taking photos of geckos in protest. Well...maybe.
Amen Meek! Ban Geico!
