Conservative commentators, leaders and thinkers have a responsibility to denounce idiocy put forward under the conservative banner. Republicans and conservatives have a real opportunity to take back the country in 2010 and 2012. But they aren’t going to do it by promoting outlandish conspiracies.

One of the requirements for the office of President of the United States of America is to be a Natural Born Citizen. To be a Natural Born Citizen, you must have been born from two United States Citizens.
Ignore for a moment the requirement to be born in the U.S.A., because if a person isn’t born of two United States Citizens, he or she is not a Natural Born Citizen.
Depending on the circumstances, it is possible for a person born of one United States Citizen to be or become a United States Citizen, because laws have been enacted to that end. However, that person would be, in effect, a United States Citizen by Statute, not a Natural Born Citizen.
According to Barack Obama, his father was Barack Obama, Sr. That man was not a United States Citizen.
Therefore, Barack Obama was not born of two United State Citizens and, though he might be a United States Citizen by Statute, he is not a Natural Born Citizen.
Therefore, Back Obama is not Constitutionally qualified for the office of President of the United States of America.
It really is that simple.
Seems like a full court press to keep Obama in office. Why?

While the Left has now successfully labeled all that question “crazy”, including pressuring some from our side to agree, I remind you that this same Left element, the ones that promoted such “sane” ideas as, “Bush lied, people died”, or “we were torturing”, or “Bush hates black people”, or even “Governor Sarah Palin wasn't really pregnant”, are now in control of our Government.
Yet, we are now the “crazy” ones for asking this President to adhere to his own policy of transparency.
If this label achieves it final objective, look for this same strategy to be implemented upon those who criticize Obamacare, the Stimulus, Cap and Trade, or any other Obama agenda items.
So its not just the “long form” birth cert you want released. You want all his records released. Your choice, but it may come back to bite conservative candidates too.
IMHO, the only thing I can see in this whole birther nonsense that is curious is why BO doesn’t release the long form, if there is such a thing, to stop the foolishness. The only rational answer I can come up with is that BO and the Libs enjoy watching so man conservatives wasting so much of their time on a non-issue.
What are you going to do if 2 years from now, BO releases the long form, and he really was born in Hawaii? Do a Roseanne Roseannadanna and say “Nevermind!”?

The derogatory term "birthers" is all part of the Alinski game plan; they can not reasonably debate the issue because there is a BIG PROBLEM: THEY WILL NOT RELEASE HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE BECAUSE THEY CAN NOT RELEASE HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE! So instead they ridicule those bringing up a valid issue with derision and contempt calling them "racists" or "crazy birthers" for wanting to see simple confirmation that Obama is CONSTITUTIONALLY QUALIFIED to be the President of the United States.
This whole matter could be settled in a matter of hours if Obama simply released a legally notarized $10 copy of his long-form birth certificate BUT he can not and will not do so choosing instead to spend over a million dollars AND COUNTING in legal fees in order to keep this document HIDDEN from the American people. NO ONE SPENDS THAT KIND OF MONEY TO KEEP A $10 DOCUMENT THAT EVERY AMERICAN HAS TO PRODUCE IN ORDER TO DO ANYTHING FROM GETTING A SIMPLE DRIVERS LICENSE OR PASSPORT, UNLESS THERE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH HIS CITIZENSHIP.
This cry of "racism" and “they are crazy” and calling us "birthers" is nothing but a RED HERRING designed to marginalize his opponents without dealing with the issue!
There has been a MASSIVE COORDINATED/ORCHISTRATED PUSH over the last week by the State run media (probably led by the Obama administration's and DNC's talking points outlined by Saul Alinski's principle of denigrating and marginalizing ones opponent by making fun of them) and Obamessiah's minions in order to try and reframe the entire argument regarding the legitimacy of Obama to serve, without dealing with the issue. They have to take this approach because they are totally unwilling to produce the $10 document proving once and for all that Obama is a NATURAL BORN American citizen. At this point there is absolutely no LEGAL proof presented that can be INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIED that he is one; no legitimate legal notarized $10 copy of Obamas long-form birth certificate has been produced in order to be verified and authenticated, and the fact that Obama has spent OVER A MILLION DOLLARS in legal fees to an army of lawyers all fighting the release of a $10 birth certificate point to there being a huge problem regarding his legal legitimacy to constitutionally take and hold the office of President of the United States.
Obama's new ploy is to reframe the entire argument instead of answering the question by producing the document (because he can't without destroying his presidency) and to denigrate all of those seeking simple proof that he is legitimately qualified under the guidelines of the U.S. Constitution to serve as president of the United States and Commander and Chief. He, along with his minions are seeking to marginalize us by calling everyone seeking the truth: "crazy, racist, "birthers".
Sorry DNC and Obamessiah, you and your State run media can scream "RACISTS" and "crazy birthers" all you want but it isn't going to wash THIS TIME, the Constitution says one MUST be a natural born citizen in order to hold this office, it has NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE, or insanity and EVERYTHING TO DO WITH UPHOLDING THE RULE OF LAW AND THE COSTITUTION.

The trouble with Ingram, Medved, O'Reiley and others even within the Republican party is that they have (to protect their jobs, their careers or for what ever reason) accepted Obamas "crazy birther" label and this has given them political cover to totally ignore the entire thorny issue regarding Obama's legal qualifications and right to serve as President without having seen one shred of INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIABLE PROOF that he is legally eligible because callers are just "crazy birthers".
Well let me think like a liberal strategist here. . .
Hmmmm, we can (1) let these birthers waste their time on the citizenship issue or we can (2) let them direct their attention to say, “crap and played.”
If we let them keep at no. 1, most people will think they are nuts anyway and we have little or no problem. If it ever gets to be a problem, we’ll just release the long form and ZAP, end of problem. Plus everybody feels sorry for BO.
Or, we can end it now and let them deal with serious issues.

For there to be doubt of O’s natural born status,
he must have been born outside the US. If he was born in Hawaii his citizenship and natural born status is assured.
Where is there any evidence that Ann Dunham was out of the country on or about the time of O’s birth? She must have had
a passport. There must be a record of a trip, arrival at
Customs, something...What happened to her passport? It is
US property. Was it returned to the State Dept after her death?
I concede that if he is found to have been born outside the
US, he is ineligable for office. So far I have seen no convincing evidence or even a strong hint that Ann Dunham was abroad at the time. We do have these affidavits and statements that he was born in a Hawaiian hospital. Therefore the preponderance of the facts in evidence show me that he is probably natural-born.
Hey, I hope I am wrong, but I am getting real sick and tired of having some fringe element of the conservative movement, used to make the rest look bad (anti-science, Biblical Creationists, conspiracists, etc).
If you were concerned about adherence to the Constitution, the Constitutional definition of “natural born citizen” and were serious about an oath you had taken (as I have), I would hope you would have doubts. It's a matter of personal integrity, honor, the responsibility to the military chain of command and for the welfare of your subordinates if in a position of authority.
I understand if you can't relate - there are many (mostly on the other side) of that perspective.
It's not a matter of what I want it to be, it's a matter of what it isn't yet proven to be and there is sufficient doubt.
If that BC would show him born of two US citizens and then if records showed that he was never an Indonesian citizen, then I'd have to say my opinion was wrong based on the lack of info I had at the time.
But when one looks at the preponderance of evidence, the whole issue of his citizenship and his identity becomes questionable.
Why can't he get his birth hospital name right?
If he was born in a hospital why does he even have the COLB document at all?
If he wasnt born in a hospital, where and when was he born?
It is supposed to be the president's obligation to prove his qualificaions and he is not doing that. Therefore he isn't upholding the Constitution as he swore to do.

The argument that conservatives (as opposed to neo-cons/libs, who don’t want to rock 0’s boat) can’t try to determine Obama’s bona fides, while opposing his several, simultaneous attacks on American institutions: free enterprise, the Bill of Rights, the SCOTUS, health care, etc. etc. etc., suggests that Jamie and others of his ilk don’t think conservatives can walk and chew gum at the same time.

Obama's half sister has a Hawaii Cert of Live Birth. She was born in Indonesia. How does a Cert of Love Birth prove he was born in Hawaii?
You may have to do what I did after 30 years in GOP. I became a democrat and thank god there are conservative democrats in Washington or we would probably all be signing up for Obamacare right about now.
