Yes, but unfortunately the “Tea Parties” have NOT been successful. We’re still being ignored. Since those held on tax day, we’ve gotten what? Things like more bailouts, more czars, no investigation of ACORN, Cap and Trade!
I suspect that by the time we reach those to be held on 9/12 we will be well on our way to Amnesty and Socialized Medicine. Thus far, the “tea parties” are a losing game. Just my opinion, but unless and until so-called “right wing extremists” actually act like right wing extremists, our county will be lost.
For instance, we could start by taking a page out of Acorn’s dirty playbook. Instead of Statehouses, hold the tea parties on the front lawns of the homes of those Dems & Reps who voted for cap and trade.
They want us to be discouraged.. We won’t stop til they start to listen.
