Should Governor Sanford Resign?

He should already be gone...

Screw them. If it was a Democrat, they’d be saying it was only about sex. The people of SC are the jury here.

The New York Times? - LOL - it’s definitely not up to the gay-centric opinion of that fish-wrap to make this call. It’s up to the voters of S. Carolina.

Absolutely. The sooner the better. The 2010 general election campaign season will begin in less than a year.

If the NY Slimes says he should resign, then he should stay in office and fight it out. Bill Clinton, Barney Frank, David Vitter, Larry Craig and many others were not forced out of office, so why should Sanford. Ultimately, of course, it is up to the people of SC.

Why does the New York Times think he should resign, is that a joke? Are these the same people that support Barney Frank, Bill Clinton, and the endless names of liberals who don’t give a flip about sexual morality. NYT when are you going to go belly up, no one cares what you think because you’re not a real news paper.

He should get out of dodge and go live in South America.

Sanford should do whatever he wants. If he wants to bear down and tend to the peoples business he should tell all his detractors to piss off. If he wants to wallow in self pity he should get out ASAP.

I don’t give a rat’s patootie what the NYT thinks, or what this article thinks. Sanford should resign from GOP politics ASAP.

Regardless of why he disappeared, he should resign for dereliction of duty. And apparently at least one trip to Argentina was on the taxpayers’ dime.

His press conference and his statements since then show him to be unstable and untrustworthy.

His wife says that he begged her to be allowed to go his lover. Both she and the voters should kick him out on his hypocritical ass.

What if Sanford had been engaging in homosexual relations with one of Pinch Sulzberger's friends?

Do you think the NYT would be demanding his resignation?

Of course not. The duplicitous NYT wants everybody to think that messing around on your partner(s) is a privilege reserved only for gay people.

How pervertedly discriminatory on their part.

Yes, he needs to resign. In addition to his personal failings, which compromised his office, he abandone3d his post and left his state in a precarious position.

We cannot afford to carry any GOP dead weight, we have to get rid of those who drag us down and look for replacements who possess the integrity to lead in the future. Otherwise we are no different than THEM.

Should Governor Sanford Resign?

Of course, that’s up to the people of his state. But, for sure, he should forget about being a Presidential Candidate, because that has to do with me, then... :-)

Regardless of how positive his past accomplishments have been, he needs to go ASAP! From this point forward, for as long as he is Governor, he will be an albatross for the state of South Carolina and for the Republican party and for his own family.

The only organizations who will benefit from his continued occupancy of the office will be the rats and the msm.
