Last week we SAW how the DUmmies were getting all excited about a remote control device that could shut off TV sets that were running Fox News. But what happens when the DUmmie leaves the room? Most likely the TV will revert to Fox News since it is by far the most popular cable news channel out there. Therefore, the DUmmies have to work even harder to keep folks from watching Fox News. One way is what a certain DUmmie did as chronicled in his THREAD, "I just complained to a Macy's manager about having Fox News on their TVs." This censorship matter is of such importance to the DUmmies that it currently sits at the very top of their "Greatest" page. So let us now watch the DUmmies get obsessed that people out there are watching Fox News in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, noting that Macy's will probably now get requests to turn the channel BACK to Fox news is in the [brackets]:

I was shopping on Saturday in a San Diego Macy's and noticed that outside the fitting rooms were small TV monitors and a seating area for -- I guess -- bored husbands waiting for their wives to finish shopping. Fox News was on. I changed the channel to a game show. Apparently, it was programmed so those were the only two choices. I went into a different department and there it was again. I changed it again.

I didn't bother a saleswoman about it; there were so few on the floor anyway, and they don't have any authority. This morning I called and spoke with a manager who both agreed with me that it was propaganda, and also said she would tell the store manager about my complaint and try to make sure that Fox News was taken off the channel selection.
[Hmmm... Thanx for the info. Now we know that it was the San Diego Macy's and that they have a leftwing manager who has agreed to censor Fox News from their TV sets. How much you want to bet that your dopey post will end up having the OPPOSITE effect that you intended. Any DUFU fans in the San Diego area want to check out the Macy's there and see if they actually acceded to the demand of a crazed censorious DUmmie?]

his is par for the course most places... Honestly almost any place I go with public tv's tuned to news channels, it's always fox news. Stores, the gym, lunch rooms at business places....

When I was working at Cymer in San Diego, ...the TV's in the lunch room where always on the Fox News Channel. All the TV's were being fed off of a DirecTV box that was locked in a cabinet, but lucky for me the cabinet had glass doors. So, I purchased a cheap Universal Remote control, and programmed it for the DirecTV box. Everyday my friends and I would sneak the remote into the cafeteria and find a seat relatively in front of the video cabinet, and secretly change the channel to something other then FNC, usually CNN or MSNBC, sometimes ESPN.

That is how you do it, talk directly to the store manager, good job. I did this at the local Hospital, why they needed Fox news or any TV on in the waiting room was beyond me, and the next time I took the wife it wasn't on Fox news.

I did the same at a BOFA branch. They play CNN now. Gotta make the noise.

Tell them that you don't approve of pornography -- and Faux News IS political pornography. And thanks for taking action. I have in the past complained, and some businesses have changed the station, at least temporarily.

Now you are talking....It is this kind of vigilance that pays off...If enough of us do it. When I was in the local hospital the same thing happened to me....they now have cnn on all the time which isn't a whole lot better but its a step.

they play that crap at the Macys in the Los Angeles area also and i have seen it at that waiting room area just outside the dressing rooms.

I just got back from a trip in Missouri and a couple different McDonalds had a big flat-screen on the wall with Fox News blaring. Anyone else ever seen it in a McDonalds?

I’ve been to hotels in the past that don’t have fox on their cable selection.
I now ask, when I call for rate info, whether or not they have fox available for viewing..if they say no, I thank them for their time and call someone else..
Remember if that Macy's doesn't give in to that DUmmie censorship demands, DUmmie heads will EXPLODE...especially since the DUFUs will be the instrument of their defeat. Oh, and I have a feeling this incident will end up on the news. Hee! Hee!

Based on the actual definition of propaganda, every network except Fox is engaging in propaganda.
Right. Businesses react to the squeakiest wheel. Of course, if the squeaking gets to shrill (i.e. if libs and conservatives turn businesses into battlegrounds over the choice of news channels), they may end up dispensing with the TVs altogether. Or, they might just switch to the least offensive channel they can think of (basketweaving, anyone?).

What they did and their attitude in doing it when they bought out Marshall Field's in the Chicago Metro Area. And especially to the Field's flagship store on State Street (that Great Street) in the Chicago Loop. Macy's management acted like the Soviets in the take over of the Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia) and didn't give a 'carp' what lifetime (generational actually) Field's shoppers had to say.So Macy's can go to hades. They can run gay porn movies on their in-store TV's for all I care. Annnnnd they can take their 'Red Star' commie logo and stick it where the sun don't shine.The result was a loss of tens of thousands of loyal Marshall Field's customers.

Well DUmmie, I complain when businesses have any of the SRM on their sets and they change to FOX News. I guess we're even now. I hate most cable news like the Communist News Network, PMSNBC, CBS, etc.

Pulling some juvenile stunts like that may get you a little satisfaction for a while, but listening to the propoganda on CNN and the like on all day will drive you nuts - well, being a DUmmie, you are already nuts.

The worst porn is on CNN, PMSNBC, etc. Of course, that is kind of like feeding hogs. If you eat slop every day, you tend to start loving it more every day.

I shall go to every Macy's in the greater San Diego area and request that FNC is on all t.v.'s. This is a daunting task, I know, but someone has to do it and since I'm there shopping anyway..... :^)
DH and I ask Dr. offices and anywhere else that has a tv to put it ON FNC! Poor DUmmie heads exploding again!
Now if only they could figure out how to point a remote at the satellites and change all channels at once.
