For Nancy Pelosi to be telling the truth, there have to be a lot of liars, including both the present CIA director, a loyal member of Ms. Pelosi's own party, and the prior CIA director. If Mr. Sheehy agrees with the current and former CIA director, Porter Goss, is she going to call him a liar too?

Oh, he will. I’m not sure why, though. Supposedly, Hoyer is a good friend of Rahm Emmanuel and has long had animosity towards Pelosi (who supported Murtha in some context in which Hoyer felt the support should have gone to him). So possibly this is just personal and Pelosi was judged not loyal enough to the Bambi cabal.
Possibly, however, it’s because Emmanuel doesn’t think she’d be effective at moving their plans along - I think she had her own rival health plan at some point, for example - or possibly it’s simply because there’s somebody else they want for Speaker.
Then again, it could be to distract attention from Obama’s own flip-flops on these matters.
The possibilities are endless.
Pelosi is a damn liar. Keep the heat on. This nitwit has to go.
Wide open opportunity for the Republicans to put this person away. But of course, they’ll show no guts, no cubes, no nothing. And it will all pass in a few days, like all other Democrat crimes, transgressions, lies, etc.
