DAY 3 JIHAD PIRACY KIDNAPPING: CAPTAIN MAKES DRAMATIC ESCAPE

...Van wrote, "We should have put a SEAL team in the water early on, even before the U.S. Warship arrived, by aircraft, low on the horizon. We should have jammed their communications. They are giving interviews to Reuters, for Chrissakes! SEALs probably would have thrown a stun grenage and teargas in that lifeboat and brought the entire mess to a conclusion. The Marines and Navy soldiers were probably tripping over themselves to volunteer for this mission.

And those 3 pirate towns mentioned in the piece? I would level them. Give tehm 24 hours to vacate. Period. Do you think Churchill, Eisenhower, or, Parron, especially, would have countenanced this pussy approach. Sorry, but you use that word, too.

And the sentence about the pirates not wanting to be harmed. Now, isn't that rich. America has become a gelding. I am this close to ordering that DTOM Navy Flag and stickers from Gadsen! "

Sink the lifeboat, put them all in the water. Have friends in the water for the good guy.

Kennedy got into the Republic of Viet Nam to prop up the French and Roman Catholic puppet government.

Jackie Kennedy was French descent and both Jack and Jackie were Roman Catholic.

Coincidence?

You forgot Carter and Iran — seized embassy and hostages.

They are all a bunch of pansies.

No balls in the bunch.

Thanks.

Had you said “Wars” vs. [”Events”] leading potentially to Wars, I would have clearly understood it.

But, I read “wars” vs. “Military Actions” - I’m talking about what you said in http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2226808/posts#21

For a “peaceful religion”, Islam is extremely well-represented on that list. Just an observation. Wouldn’t you agree?

Oh... yes, for sure...

There’s no doubt about it, Islam is making its resurgence in the world to take over the entire world. It’s been going on for at least 40 years or so, but no one was paying attention before...

I hope they are now!

If the captain comes out alive without a ransom, this is exactly HOW it will be done. But for someone who only watches TV, I can see why you might not understand. Continue praying, if they do save him without a ransom, it will require prayers to get your man to OK the action.

“Coincidence?”

No like so many of the disasters brought about by Kennedy, this one was not a coincidence.

In 1954, the elections in S. Viet Nam were extremely complicated; There were the Cao Dai, the Buddhists, a couple VN generals, even the Emperor Bao Dai and the Ngos. Ngo Dinh Diem won backed by the Kennedy CIA, the French and his brother Ngo Dinh Nhu and his wife.

The elections in the North were simpler since there was but a single candidate from the Lao Dong party (The party established by Pham Van Dong who was a signator at the Paris Accords in 1954) Ho Chi Minh, backed by his mentors, the Soviet Union and the KGB.

Elections in the North and South were both landslides.....maybe that term isn't even accurate....more like Coups.

An interesting fact is that it was North Viet Nam that was predominately Roman Catholic and South Viet Nam was mostly Buddhist or Cao Dai with the gentry being Catholic.

Things didn't go well for the opposition parties.

You can add the loss of about 41 GIs almost all Marine that were lost in the SS Mayaguez debacle during the Ford years.

Okay, I’ll have to add in the “killed in action” on what I have there right now. I didn’t put that in there. Otherwise, the “incident” is listed (just not those killed, though...)

It will be in the next update...

Yes, it was only American hostages, American killed and/or American servicemen.

I have seen the information for what this list would be if it included other nationalities and the Americans would “disappear” in the list...

I had a similar list that started with the birth of christ and went up to about AD 1970. and yes...the list was enormous. I had it on a zip disk that I can no longer find. It took me a year to get it together in my spare time starting right after 9-11.

Oh my..., and that’s too bad you don’t still have it...

But, I have seen a website where they list all the terrorist attacks in the world, no matter where and what size. It’s quite an extensive list. I would have to hunt that one down. It’s still out there on the net...
