So his support of Porkulus is encouraging his Dem allies to turn on him. Talk about a magic bullet.

Let’s put it this way. If Specter survives the primary, I would support the Democrat.

If we get a Conservative challenger he gets my cash.
If it ends up Specter vs. a Dem in the general, the ‘Rat gets my money.

I’m all done with these fools.

The Democrats are going to have to wait in line behind the Republicans to get Specter.

Its worth noting the large number of RINO’s that lost in 2006 and again last November.

It always amusing me when the RINO’s get fired, and then are surprised, ala that idiot Chris Shays.

Specter is stupid. Rats won’t support him when they can support a real Rat and now Republicans aren’t going to support him either. He’ll lose. Just ask McCain.

If Specter cares about being re-elected he will oppose this thing. If he votes for it, he will get no goodwill or support from Democrats - they will seek to aggressively defeat no matter how he votes. Plus, voting in favor of this thing virtually guarantees a conservative primary challenge, and this time he won’t have Bush and Santorum to bail him out. I can’t imagine him surviving a primary challenge if he supports the stimulus.

Just another fitting of the liberal trend in PA. Specter is probably too conservative for them. Why should they support an ersatz liberal when they can run a real-deal 'Rat liberal and win in a landslide?

I mean, we're talking PA here. This is the home of the Nutz mayor in Phila and Governor Fast Eddie and Rep. Frank My-Constituents-Are-Redneck-Racists Murtha. If you've got an electorate stoopit enough to elect clowns like those, you can sure give the boot to Specter and replace him with a TrueLiberalTM.

I plan to support his opposition in the primary. What’s that guy’s name ...Toomey? Does he have a website up yet where one can donate?

No republican will every win another statewide election in this godforsaken state again. Philadelphia and ACORN have made it impossible. PA has become West Jersey.

I read somewhere on the net that RINO Arlen got a multi-millions cancer center in return for his vote. A person who trades votes for favors is a WHORE!

That’s great. He nuzzles up to the lib-tard Democrats and supports their socialistic abomination of a pork-spending bill, and now THEY are going to repay him by getting him unelected.

I can’t think of any other Sphincter I would rather see that happen to.

Of course, even BETTER would be for the Republicans in Pennsylvania to “grow some stones” and NOT EVEN NOMINATE HIM next time.

I’ll just be over here in the corner holding my breath waiting for THAT to happen... (trying not to turn blue)

Just listened to Joe Lieberman praise the stimulus bill and assure us all that he and Snowe and Collins will do all they can to OVERSEE that the money isn’t spent fraudulently.

I can see by his comments that he is one of the arm twisters getting these RINOS to sign on.

Anyone who ever praised this POS on FR should have a look at the real Joe Lie - berman.

What a coincidence -- he's the conservatives' top target in 2009.
