My 33 year old daughter, Becky, is going to have surgery in about an hour to remove a tumor from her pituitary gland. The tumor, about 1.5 cm in size, is causing her to throw off hormones which are playing havoc with her body. Because of its location, just below the optic nerve, pituitary tumors can threaten one's eyesight and surgery in this area is inherently risky to the optic nerve and could result in blindness. The procedure, which should take about three hours, accesses the pituitary gland through the nostrils.
Please pray for a good outcome and to safeguard her eyesight.
Over the past three years, while they've been trying to shrink the tumor with drug therapy, Becky has named the tumor "Fred." I hope the Fredectomy is sucessful and that Fred is evicted. . . permanently.
It seems that lately, good news is counter-balanced with bad news. :o) :o(
PRAISE BE TO GOD! HALLELUJAH!
I am so happy to hear that everything went to well!!! This is excellent news. I’ll be sure to pass on your daughter’s success onto hubby’s cousin, to give her some encouragement.
Again, so happy to hear the good news!
Prayers sent!
Glad things went well!
Thank you for the update. I was JUST wondering how she was doing, too! So glad to hear it. Praise be to God. And I will join KitKat’s daughter’s prayer thread.
I put Becky on our Parish Prayer list for continued healing, after her surgery. So glad to know she’s doing well.
Praise and prayers continue.
Prayers for Kitkat’s daughter. For a quick and complete healing in Jesus name.
Praise God! Continued prayers for continued healing
