High School Bars Criticism of President Obama [SATIRE]
A Semi-News/Semi-Satire from AzConservative ^ | 24 Jan 2009 | John Semmens

Posted on 01/26/2009 10:20:07 AM PST by John Semmens

The Warsaw Community High School (Indiana) chapter of “Young Americans for Liberty” was barred from passing out literature expressing doubts about the wisdom of President Obama announced policy intentions. Assistant Principal Steve Ferber said he was forced to take the action because the literature was “dangerously critical of our president.”

“The time for debating policies is over,” Ferber contended. “Obama was the winner in the election. In four years there will be another election for president. Until then, it is every American’s duty to support his program. Criticism just undermines the president’s ability to succeed.”

Ferber rejected comparisons with the endless stream of criticism that members of the “right-wing” say undermined President Bush’s ability to lead during his administration. “Bush clearly took this country down the wrong path,” Ferber said. “Criticism was necessary in order to prevent greater harm. We supported students’ right to speak up for their future in those perilous times. But times have changed. The new president must be given a fair chance to implement his agenda without the carping of naysayers.”

The “dangerous” literature that the students had planned to distribute during lunch included a booklet of facts about the U.S. Constitution; stickers with the words “You’ll be disappointed” and “Not Change,” and a flyer titled “Don’t be fooled by rhetoric.”

In a separate incident, President Obama confirmed the new reality by pointing out to Senate Republican critics of his stimulus package that—”I won. The people are behind me. For the next four years I will be calling the shots. If you want a ‘piece of the pie’ you’ll have to go along. There’ll be enough to share with those who are team players.”

No criticizing of der new Reichs Fuerher!

May we all learn to sing his praise. [/dripping sarcasm]

Watch this...

SINGING PRAISES TO THE NEW BELOVED LEADER - YOU TUBE

and then this...

HYMNS TO THE NEW BELOVED LEADER ARE NOT THE FIRST TIME - YOUTRUBE

...and finally, this:

THIS IS WHERE IT LEADS - NOW IS THEIR TIME AND TOMORROW BELONGS TO THEM

The precedent and consequences are well established historically. Far too many American have been sold a bill of goods...and with their money and their vote purchased a pig in a poke...a potentially ravenous and rabid pig.

In the USSR, they venerated a child (I forget the name) who turned in his parents for being dissedents. Start to expect the same here.

Bet the school didn’t do this for President Bush.

Didn’t German high schools do the same thing before the Fueher took full control?

Hitler was an illegal alien Austrian in Germany.

Obama is an illegal alien Kenyan with Indonesian citizenship.

My guess is children who turn in their parents to Obama will get a new XBox or iPhone with free texting for life.

I would like to see this dangerously critical literature.

I think I’ll contact Assistant Principal Steve Ferber.

It’s a “semi-satire.” No school is out there with leadership saying these things, but in many ways, it’s what’s being done on a smaller, less noticeable scale.

Don’t take anything from the Arizona Conservative too seriously.
