After 10 years and many thousands of replies, I am leaving FR.
I don't really care, and I don't know why anyone else would.
I am leaving before I am banned (again). Truth doesn't seem to matter on FR. I don't know if it is donations or sympathetic opinions that do, but I have been suspended twice when I followed the rules and the people who complained to the moderators didn't, yet the moderators sided with them.
For the record, evolution is a fact and the Shroud of Turin is a fraud. I would prove it if the admin moderators would let me, but they won't. Your resident "expert", Swordmaker won't debate me because he can't.
I will work to build a forum where members have rights and truth matters.

I'm not endorsing anything that has been said for or against evolution on this thread, but I'd like to note that just a few weeks ago, a defender of evolution on this board told me that the fact that I think there is any such thing as proof in science shows beyond doubt (proves, if you will) that I am completely ignorant about what science is.

santa was banned from lighting a Christmas tree in Montgomery County Maryland because he was "too offensive".
The very word Christmas was removed from our kids school calendar, because of threats by the ALCU, again "too offensive"
A cross was removed from INSIDE A CHAPEL at William and Mary
Another cross was to be removed from a cemetary (Mt. Soledad) but failed (for now)
'Under' God was attacked in the pledge by Michael Newdow (poor angry little man can't stand IGWT on our coins either)
And of course the idiotic God not only has no place in science class, but nowhere on school grounds PERIODfor no other reason than godless liberal NEA types say-so

If there is a liberal involved in a lawsuit it's to tear conservatism, especially Christian conservatism down. Period. If a Christian is involved in a lawsuit, it's more likely because they're trying to preserve heritage, not tear things down, and sometimes in the case of Las Cruces, something that's been in place for hundreds of years!
Anything soliton does will resemble Air America for exactly the reasons he's whining about, only 10 fold!
Frankly, soliton (and several others) would be missed from FR much like someone misses an ingrown toenail!
