This is interesting. Souter tells Obama to produce the vault copy by December 1, 2008. I believe the messiah will defy the Justices.
Who will force the issue? Who wants to open up that pandora's box? Imagine if there is something on that birth certificate that disqualifies Obama from the office of the President. What are you going to do? Start a civil war? There will be blood in the streets you try to enforce the rule of law. This should have happened before the election. Obambi knows it too.

At this point, Supreme Court Justice David Souter's Clerk informed Philip J. Berg, the lawyer who brought the case against Obama, that his petition for an injunction to stay the November 4th election was denied, but the Clerk also required the defendants to respond to the Writ of Certiorari (which requires the concurrence of four Justices) by December 1. At that time, Mr. Obama must present to the Court an authentic birth certificate, after which Mr. Berg will respond.
If Obama fails to do that, it is sure to inspire the skepticism of the Justices, who are unaccustomed to being defied. They will have to decide what to do about a president-elect who refuses to prove his natural-born citizenship.
"I can see a unanimous Court (en banc) decertifying the election if Obama refuses to produce his birth certificate," says Raymond S. Kraft, an attorney and writer. "They cannot do otherwise without abandoning all credibility as guardians of the Constitution. Even the most liberal justices, however loathe they may to do this, still consider themselves guardians of the Constitution. The Court is very jealous of its power - even over presidents, even over presidents-elect."
Also remember that on December 13, the Electoral College meets to casts its votes. If it has been determined that Mr. Obama is an illegal alien and therefore ineligible to become President of the United States, the Electors will be duty-bound to honor the Constitution.

THAT is what I’m furious about. I listen to Rush just about every single day. Today I missed it because we were working on the cabin.
So take your “ignorant fool” comment and shove it. Rush has NOT helped us on the matter of Obama’s birth certificate. I have waited for him to stand up for us and he hasn’t. So now the ball is in his court. If he folds on this, he isn’t any better than the “driveby media”.

You need to hear what was said before you go off. Rush was proclaiming his right to ‘play the part of discourse’ as he played a Hillary shrilled a couple of years back.... and he set the ground rules as of what is what on this day.
Now come on this birth certificate is one shady business and for whatever reason somebody is planning to make some hay over it. Rush is not going to get drawn in over rumors as he does his show. Show the evidence and Rush will be first in line to broadcast it....

A lot of us have been flooding their emails with this BC issue. After weeks and weeks of sending emails. I grew tired. I will start again, but I think it is for nothing.
I don’t think they want to touch this issue.
The only thing that will make the media (that includes Rush, Hannity etc.) report the BC issue is when the SCOTUS hears the case. If they will.
We have no media on our side on this one.

Since when does Rush get his evidence from us? I thought he had his own people doing research, and dare I say, he should be doing his own too.
There is absolutely NO good reason for Obama to withhold his birth certificate. This issue didn’t help him, it hurt him...and as bad as he wanted to take control of the White House, he would NEVER have done something that would hurt him unless he had a very good reason. So what’s the reason? It’s a freekin’ birth certificate! The most common form of proven I.D. we have!

He has had two years to research Obama. We have been shouting to the hilltops about Obama’s refusal to show us his birth certificate for how long now? And Rush hasn’t done diddly squat about it. So IF it mattered to Rush, he sure could have fooled his listeners.
I thought of myself as a Rush Fan...but not anymore until that man proves that he is going to stand up for us like we’ve stood by him.

Why would Rush say those two sentences unless that is what he also believes? He could have defended his use of the word “thuggish” in a miriad of ways. But he brought up the b.o. and stated he doesn’t care about it, doesn’t care where Obama was born. So therefore, Rush is saying that he doesn’t care if someone is or is not eligible to run for President. If that doesn’t make a RUSH fan FURIOUS, I don’t know what will!
Listen, he knows about it, that is obvious. It’s also obvious that he does not want to talk about it, and neither does Levin, who is much more to the point than Limbaugh. Whatever their reason are for avoiding the issue, I forgive them. I will toss neither under the buss because of it. The issue of his eligibility is where it should be, before the SCOTUS. They are the ones who have the power to legally protect our constitution, so let us see how it plays out. The Electors are also aware of this problem now. I believe that you are misdirecting your worthy anger at the wrong people. I apologize for my remarks to you earlier, I understand your frustration.
Could be why President Bush brought a large unit of military back to the US just in case they are needed. All these folks who seem to hate President Bush just do not realize he is still protecting this country...in many ways no one knows about.
I do not disagree that it could happen and many have worked actively to strike the match. Actually I thought that was the purpose of A.N.S.W.E.R. movement along with labor shutting down Long Beach a few years back. As well as the illegals making their presence known.
We would not necessarily need a 'gate', another huge natural disaster under this bunch could serve the same purpose.
Consider what kind of immediate chaos if New Madrid shook. Nobody in this nation is prepared for that kind of upheaval.
