The source of the story about batman/robin/nightwing here is Ben Smith's board. It is so serious you'd think he, Ben Smith, actually knew something about Batman and/or Robin!.
Unfortunately for Ben, and Obama, there's a much more important point to be made and there are multiple sources ~ nay, tens of thousands of sources of what is common knowledge about Batman and Robin ~ TO WIT: Robin got mad at Batman and took off!
Not only did he take off he changed his name to NIGHTWING.
He returned to Gotham City only after some chicks got in church and he could put his gay past to rest.
Now, I ask you, what trust can you put in a blogger who doesn't know about how Batman and Robin broke up?
Why would you put a man in charge of the country who can't even keep track of his comic books?

Batman and Robin are homosexual lovers. What is Obama trying to say here?
To: muawiyah
And what’s the problem with Batman and Robin. At least they were born in America. ahem
To: muawiyah
LOL! you should send this to mccain. c’mon this election has been a rough ride and a humorous commercial would do WONDERS. he could do it comic book style or cartoon. either way it would get the message across. mccain the new nightwing:) im serious, would love nothing more than humor, even in a campaign ad and i am sure many would agree. may even win mccain a few points with those pesky undecided.
What amazes me is that we are told how cool and inspiring Obama is, when in reality he is a nerdy dork. He is 1 step away from being Urkel.
To: muawiyah
um... OK
but can you say “Not Presidential”
this is the most childish thing he ever said.
Obama is an overeducated high school class president who took “mayor for the day” on his class field trip too seriously, and thinks it makes him qualified to hold a real office, and the TOP office at that.

Batman is a deeply disturbed vigilante who tortures himself by training a “boy wonder” to show himself that instead of standing there while his parents got shot, as he did, a young boy CAN take out an armed man.
Batman is not homosexual and would never harm a child.
He just wishes that HE was a “boy wonder” on the fateful night when his parents were gunned down.

No crap. Robin spent decades trying to distance himself from Batman's shadow. Unless Obama is referring to Jason Todd, in which case, he's even more clueless and insensitive than I thought.
Speaking of homosexual teen sidekicks trying to distance themselves from their overbearing lover/father figures, has Obama ever explained how he paid for all those drugs he took in his younger days?

Some arch-villain must’ve hit Barack with an Anti-Gravitas Beam.

Ever notice how cool and calm pot-smokers are? They’re always assuring you that everything is cool when they’ve totally failed to do what they promised you they’d do.

George W. Bush brought back dignity and integrity to the White House after the scandalous behavior of Clinton (not to mention all the scandals of his Cabinet members). The Democrats have been treating him with extreme disrespect and vitriol since he first announced he was running for President--we've now had 9 years of him being demeaned as a Hitler or a chimp or whatever.
It looks like Obama is no better than the people he hangs out with--someone who is running for President and may win shouldn't be talking about the President of the United States in those terms. I wonder what his inaugural address will sound like..."Our long national nightmare is over?"

Meanwhile a bored troll checks his Free Republic signup to see what's new and sees, lo and behold, his hero Obama is being ridiculed for being defective in his knowledge of Batman and Robin.
TROLL ALERT.
