Posted on 10/25/2008 10:01:18 AM PDT by John Semmens
With several polls showing him pulling into a double-digit lead over his presidential rival Senator John McCain (R-Ariz), Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill) elaborated on some of his planned changes for America.
The idea that businesses and individuals should be free to selfishly make decisions for their own benefit is an outdated ideology, Obama asserted. This will change in an Obama Administration. When Im president the government will ensure that all decisions are reviewed so that only those that conform to the pursuit of the common good are undertaken.
Obama acknowledged that there might be some resistance to the fundamental changes we intend to make, but make no mistake, we will not be turned aside from our mission.
Once the majority of Americans are receiving a check from the government there is no way that the wealthy minority will be able to prevent our efforts to spread their wealth around, Obama boasted. The Civilian National Security Force I intend to establish will help ensure compliance.
The Illinois senator contrasted what he called his humane approach to dealing with opponents to that of the Bush Administration. Unlike Bush, we will not be torturing our enemies in a remote military prison at Guantanamo, Obama said. We will gently reeducate and rehabilitate those blinded to the truth by a lifetime of capitalistic brainwashing. We wont give up on them, no matter how long it takes for them to come around to the right way of thinking.
In related news, talk show blowhard, Joy Behar of The View urged Obama to consider a preemptive strike against domestic terrorists like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. These fomenters of dissent and opposition should be taken out before they destroy the new America Obama is going to give us.
Satire ...(didn’t get caught this time) lol..
Satire... or is it?
satire...but believable, based on what we know about this left-wing punk.
Don’t waste our time posting *h** like this.
GOTV, donate and volunteer.
Not if they realized their dreams, it isn't.
Often satire is based on truth and what may SEEM to be half-truths in this case (since the media doesn’t want to know the truth).
That’s the scary part. I’m not convinced that it’s not a glimpse into the future if - heaven forbid - the one gets in. “Stocking up” on you know what as we speak.
NARN, the 10 Days Out Edition, listen to The Patriot (with live video streaming!)
Tune in to OUR media!
I almost fell for it. I don’t think he will say these things until after the election.
I save it under the title “If Obama was truthful”.
Again, I would ask you to please put “(Satire)” in the title of your postings. I often use the “Latest Posts” tab, and there is no way looking at the titles displayed to distinguish your efforts at humor.
Satire, but only in the sense that Obama says these things in strict secrecy. After the San Francisco "bitter American" speech, his minions keep careful watch for the possibility of recording devices.
You must have missed the House bill that will create a new cabinet level department, “The Department of Peace and Non-violence”. The article was psoted here yesterday. It wasn’t satire or humor.
I thought Nobama wouldn't be so stupid to say what his plans are until AFTER the election (God Forbid he is elected).
You can look for something similar to this though if he DOES get elected.
Fran the poster has been here over ten years and you’re a newbie. Quit trying to order posters around as one of your first posts did.
Where do you get off thinking you can act like this.
If McCain (YOUR GUY) had fought the bailout and acted like a fiscal conservative instead of a fiscal marxist he would be up by 10 points.
If Palin wasn’t on the ticket most here would not vote McCain.
We don’t need satire when OsamaObama is talking about “spreading the wealth around”.
Don’t do this to me!
This scared the S#%> out of me, until I saw the satire tag!
I suppose that’s because it’s very likely what he really believes!
If its not based on truth, it can’t be called satire.
