This is going to be one nail-biting election.

If it goes according to my understanding of people and Obama, there will be a hockey stick plot of support for McCain. Over the last 3 days, maybe 7 days of the campaing, there will be a groundswell switch away from the Dems.

People are saying they like Obama for the Messiah factor, but as they come up to the decision, McCain will be safer.

Is it EFFECTIVE!

Exclamation point? Is it a question or an excited statement?

No matter really. I don't see much of a campaign strategy, other than his apologizing for anybody who raises a "controversial" issue about Obama.

And any issue other than "Isn't Obama dreamy?" is apparently too controversial to broach.

There are STILL a number of issues that McCain is not pursuing, that, while not directly attacking or bashing Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., the charismatic, messianic Magic Negro, would still make some telling points.

What about $4/gallon gasoline, or heating oil that is almost as expensive? What about surcharges on the electric bill, for what are now much higher priced fuels for the generation of power under peak conditions? How may we restrain further price increases?

If you think $4/gallon gasoline is too high a price, wait until the Obama Administration has you paying $8-$10/gallon for fuel in 2012.

How would we deal with Iran? Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has set HIS set of preconditions which must be met before any talks with a President Obama could be initiated. But if there is a high probability that crushing and overwhelming military force would be applied to Tehran, the preconditions might be a little more lenient and subject to compromise.

What are the military service credits that may be applied to preparation as Commander in Chief, and how does this contrast with “other rivals” for the office?

How about stopping illegal immigration? How about not looking like somebody’s grandfather going for a shuffleboard tournament, by wearing those dark glasses and baseball cap? How about learning how to use a TelePrompTer, before making public pronouncements?

Don’t just react to Obama. Be proactive, and propose some initiatives we can get behind, that show some benefit to AMERICANS.

I see that it could be very effective. I think McCain has the upper hand now. There is an unanswered question out there he can keep hammering Obama on. Why don't you support the winning “surge” strategy, especially since Obama wants to be CIC. And why didn't you visit the troops?
Keep hammering on that, Obama can't answer either w/o continuing to misrepresent himself. The when he does start to answer switch back to the economy and make Obama follow you there, ask why aren't you focused on gas prices, homes, etc. McCain now has a chance to keep Obama off balance.

I spent some time on the web site knows as the way-back machine looking for that. There were supposed to be archived at the Rev. Wright’s church web site, and though I found his old sermons, nothing of her rant at the political convention.

The MSM is coalescing around a particularly effective message: If you don’t vote for Obama, you’re racist.

For anything else you don’t like, they can change the facts around until there is something in it for you.
