Found this on how Selective Service tracks people -
https://www.sss.gov/QA.HTM#question30
Why did I receive a registration reminder card at my home? How did Selective Service get my name?
Selective Service got your name from one of the many lists used to identify people who may be eligible to register. It may have been a driver’s license list from a state Department of Motor Vehicles, a list from a Federal or state agency such as the Department of Education, the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the Department of Labor’s JTPA or Job Corps Program, the Department of Defense’s recruiting list, or from a high school list.
But the back would be blank and a scan of it wouldnt ‘authenticate’ something we agree cannot really be authenticated 100% if the original paper copy isn’t shared.
The Obama shared the COLB to *show* Obama’s place of birth, not *prove* his place of birth without a reasonable doubt.
Correcting my last sentence: The Obama shared the COLB *image* to *show* Obamas place of birth, not *prove* his place of birth *beyond* a reasonable doubt.
Interesting comment. Sort of like a birth announcement instead of a legal document? Why do you suppose he did that?

Brief Review of “Obama: The Man Behind The Mask”
The one Mercer Island friend said Stanley (that’s the name she used — not Ann or Ann Stanley, just Stanley) did not seem to know how to change a diaper. A new mom learns how to change a diaper within the first four days, typically.
Won't it have the signature block on it?

We have seen more than one version of the Susan Blake interview. The early versions don't put this in week three of August, they are "shortly after the birth" and entertain speculation that she had come from Vancouver; and that she had been out of the country when he was born.
The latest You Tube Video is a recent rendition after she has been warned about the ramifications of the too early in August concessions.
As we have discussed extensively, Vancouver BC is the return routing from Kenya to the Western half of the United States--with no direct flight to Honolulu or even San Francisco.
From personal experience, I know that British Africa return routing to Seattle in the 1960's involved a logistical issue with respect to Vancouver that sometimes involved people driving from Vancouver to Seattle; other times using other forms of ground transportation.
So recognizing that the view is speculative, it is pretty easy to see the stop at Mercer Island before she had learned to change diapers having occurred in the first week of August, 1961 on a route from Kenya to Honolulu via Vancouver BC, Seattle, and San Francisco with a stop at her friend Susan's place on the way.
You are alerted to the fairy tale element on the recently invented public story by the "on her way to visit Barack Sr. in Boston at Harvard" factor because there simply wasn't any way he was in Boston at Harvard until a year later. That part of the story, like the Birth Certificate, is a fake--you assume they fake it for some substantive reason; they don't want to say she was coming from Vancouver the week after he was born.
She may have know HOW to do but being such a young mother she may not have WANTED to do it and welcomed the opportunity to pass it off to someone else.
You are correct. Almost everything they say is a diversion and a lot of people don't realize it yet, but there is so much it will likely be all over before the convention.
Thank you for your efforts.
The diaper thing. Susan said Stanley was nursing when she then went Ohhh! he pooped. Here you know how to do this. So Susan changed Barry and told Stanley to get used to it because babies do this. I don't think it was so much that Stanley didn't know how to change a diaper as much as she didn't want to change a dirty diaper.

OK, it would be non-blank, but would it be ‘proof’ to the doubters? maybe not. You could scan another COLB and paste it together so its not a proven authenticated document.
Yes, that’s possible sort of. She’s barely eighteen at the time, and what experience had she had with newborns, or even with mothering of newborns. She may have been ungracious in her speech.
Still ... a newborn gets changed 6-10 times a day. See

If the baby is three weeks old then that baby has been changed 126 to 210 times. Even the most immature or diffident young mother has it down speedy gonzales style — quick, quick, quick — by then. By that time a diaper change is almost an autonomous series of muscle actions in reaction to a dirty or wet diaper.
Still doesn't mean you wouldn't pass a dirty diaper off on someone else. IIRC when I was eighteen with my firstborn I was more than willing to pass it off on my mother whenever possible. :-)
I don't think they'd risk posting a forged back-side if they didn't have a real one. If they do have a real one, I think it's in their best interests to post it. If nothing is posted, I would assume that it doesn't exist. But as you said, the best approach would be to make the physical document available to a trusted authority.

I’m pretty sure I was changing diapers by 13 or so. A big family. My mom actually slept in late by the eighth or so. So us older brothers had to do the do.
Quite true.
BUT
Susan Blake didn't say she changed the diaper, she said she showed Stanley HOW TO change a diaper.
Maybe Stanley Ann was just playing dumb? Maybe itty-bitty baby Barak got his initial lessons in duplicity with his first sip of colostrum?
Maybe the relatives in Kenya were very helpful to the young mom. :) ?
