and to make lying in the course of ones official duties as an elected or appointed official, a major crime with severe penalties.
Well this would be good. We could get rid of all the democrats at one time.

I LIKE that! Thats a great description of liberals! Emotional hemophiliacs!
Indeed, their kind of derangement has to be a genetic disorder.

To be fair to Obama, I'm sure he'll win the election. He'll be the first black president, and that's awesome. It's too bad that he falls short on his principles, in my opinion at least. Thats it, in a nutshell, the source of much of Obama's support. They dont really care about what his principles are, they just think it would be way "awesome" to have a black president. Racism indeed.

It is hard for us to face that we are NOT the good guys, NOT the land of the free and the home of the brave, not really even a democracy, just a pretend one. If I were a betting man I would bet the farm that OnePOedLiberal has never set foot outside the US.
The vast majority of the world's people outside of prosperous modern countries such as western Europe and Japan would give anything and everything they own to be an American citizen. All KOSsaks and DUmmies who seem to think that they live in 1930's era Nazi Germany should have to live somewhere such as Cuba or North Korea for a few years so they could better appreciate what they have right here in the good ole US of A. Which of course they hate, because it isn't their illusionary Marxist never-never land, not yet anyway.

Sometimes, I wish I could disown America. Great news, YOU CAN!!
Just move to Havana and swear undying allegiance to Fidel and the Glorious Revolution. Then you can appreciate all of the wonderful benefits of a Marxist economy up close and personal. I'm sure that you can find employment in the Cuban cane fields, but of course that will mean living in a communal dirt floor hovel with no running water, indoor plumbing, or electricity instead of in your parent's heated and air conditioned basement.
Say, wouldn't it be great to enjoy all the wonderful benefits of a progressive Marxist society instead of suffering endlessly under economic and social oppression by evil conservatives here in the US? If I were you I would leave now before the unscrupulous Republicans steal another election with their scurrilous tactic of persuading more people to vote for their warmongering nominee than the Democrats can bus from one polling place to another to vote for theirs.

Your graphic reminded me of a Jonah Goldberg line, paraphrased closely as, “Being open-minded is all well and good, up to a point. Beyond that point, your brain falls out.”

My head kept spinning as I read this rambling nonsense by OPOL. It kind of reminded me of the crazy as a loon Brad Pitt character in
12 Monkey's. Then I saw this and everything became crystal clear:
OPOL is a 60's survivor, Woodstock alumnus, a human rights/anti-war/prison reform/anti-drug war activist and an artist/poet/writer. Email: rshields_30064@netzero.net
OPOL definitely took the 'Brown Acid' at Woodstock (or somewhere) and given his email address does STILL live in his mother's basement. And is prolly still connecting to the WWW on a 14.4 kb modem made in 1991.
nothing personal against Net Zero but c'mon, what adult with a job has it.

Yep. It wouldn't take much. Of course, depending on where one lives it would take some effort to get to either the Canadian or Mexican border. Some cash, also. That may mean a loan from mom. But once there, all it would take would be a stroll across the border, then efforts toward naturalization in their chosen country. There was a whiner after the 2000 election (maybe 2004) who promised to move to Canada if only someone would pay for her French lessons, buy her a ticket, and give her a job and six months' living expenses. I wish I'd kept the link.

Some of you who were around when I first started posting at DailyKos a little over two years ago may remember the OPOL flame wars as kos himself put it. "OPOL," that's ME! "One Pissed Off Liberal," "OPOL," get it? And KOS HIMSELF made reference to me! And he's been on TELEVISION and everything!
