Yep. It wouldn't take much. Of course, depending on where one lives it would take some effort to get to either the Canadian or Mexican border. Some cash, also. That may mean a loan from mom. But once there, all it would take would be a stroll across the border, then efforts toward naturalization in their chosen country.

There was a whiner after the 2000 election (maybe 2004) who promised to move to Canada if only someone would pay for her French lessons, buy her a ticket, and give her a job and six months' living expenses. I wish I'd kept the link.

Hmmm. I didn't know one needed French lessons to move to Canada. And if one had the gumption of my son, they'd move to Canada without the lessons, get a job and earn a living. He moved to Las Vegas 10 years ago without any promises and is doing quite well in the restaurant business.

I guess a DUmmie/KOmmie has to have someone support them before they can make a decision. Life's tough, I guess. Especially when one has to pay back the advances.
