Perhaps.....just perhaps....the produce that these idiots are b*tching about is expensive because it's not IN SEASON? Imagine that. When something is not plentiful, or needs to be shipped in from other countries, it's more expensive.

It must be hard to walk through life without a clue.

You're making fun, but they DO see everything as controlled from the "top down", and have no concept of bottom up control by the free market.

I did notice that most of the items are either produce out-of-season or comoodity hard-goods (paper).

Not only do they have to be brought in from another country, remember the US dollar is sinking The aforementioned $5.00 melon in Canada is actually around $6.00 US and melons are REALLY out-of-season up there!

I was a vendor at an Art festival this past weekend. Really low turnout. Of course, they blamed Bush.
