Please pray for my mom
An AMerican In Turkiye

Posted on 04/07/2008 5:42:10 PM PDT by An American in Turkiye

Freepers-
My mom fell and broke her arm 3 days ago. She went into surgery but did not do well in post op. She may have suffered from a lack of O2 in the hospital, and they did a CAT scan to see if she has any brain damage. We will not know the results for a few days. She has been suffering from CHF and renal failure as well, and I think she is really taking a turn for the worst. Her name is Lorelei Goering, and she is in ICU at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC. Please offer a prayer for her health.
Thank you.

My family’s prayers are certainly with you. My 86-year old mom fell during Hurricane Rita and broke her arm when the family had to evacuate the Texas Gulf coast. From that accident her health declined rapidly and in June of 2006 she exited this short sad life and began an eternal happy one.

G-d of Jacob, please heal Lorelei , and give her family comfort. She is probably named after the Lorelei Rock on the Rhine River in Germany, which vision was a beautiful woman calling out to the sailors on the Rhine. Let the G-d of Jacob call out to her and guide her to safety on the shore of her forefathers and foremothers, and let her hear the voices of her family, that are singing out to her.
