Zombie attacks might increase due to global warming, study shows

A new study by scientists has suggested that zombie attacks might increase if the current projections of global warming are realized. “If the earth gets warmer, it means longer springs, summers, and falls, and shorter winters,” said John Carpenter-Romero, Ph.D., a zombie-ologist who co-authored the study. “And shorter winters means more time for the undead to prey on the populace.”

Dr. Harrister, the other co-author, and head of Zombie Robotics at Wayward Robot, Inc., explained that cold winters typically stalled the walking dead. “It is well known that zombies can’t operate in cold weather. It freezes their brains.”

The pair calculated a 32.782412% increase in zombie attacks if CO2 increased to twice its pre-industrial rate. “Clearly, this is a very troubling result,” said Dr. Harrister, “If we don’t do something soon, the streets will be filled with blood.”

You’re not being one with anything!

Sure I have. I have "become one" with several beers, bottles of rum, and the occasional Scotch whiskey. I've "become one" with my beautiful bride at least twice as we have two wonderful children.

Sometimes I even feel that if I don't get up out of my office chair and just go DO something that my arse will "become one" with the seat cushion.

Good Morning!

Supposed to be sunny all day today. I think I’ll ride to work.

20oF right now. That's 266.483333oK for those keeping track.

I've had some really great commutes since I cut my travel distance from 45 miles down to 16. We close on our house, the Gods willing, on Thursday. That'll change my commute to 25 miles.

50+ outside now. Just warm enough so I don’t have to wear my thermals on the bike. It’s 25 miles for me if I ride through the canyon, or 29 miles if I drive the freeway.

Buncha slow pokes, today.
Wassupwithat?

Don’t MAKE me come up there and set things straight! You just wait til your father gets home!

*sheesh*

Sorry...I crashed and snoozed for 3 hours after I got to work. It was a combination of the cold medicine I’m taking and the unrelenting call of the leather couch in my office.

Oh well, another late night tonight.

Taco Tuesday at Flo’s Cafe at the airport today. I think I’ll be havin’ some tacos.

Yah? I like soft tacos.

As a bit of trivia: “Taco,” in Chile, means “traffic jam.”
(Or “heel.”)

Nine or ten miles to the relatives.

Hmm. Good choice.

Evening, y’all. It’s been a busy day of kids and pets here. The snake did a Digestive Event.

We’re about to put the byos to bed. Then I’m going to drink some wine and practice my Spanish music.

If I had some wine, I would imbibe. But. Tomorrow is another day, and it may prove to be a little less stressful.

In any6 event, I’ll be going to bed in about 90 minutes. Nothing exciting going on to keep me upright...;o]
