Beta bites.
They are telling you something, switch to thunderbird.
Rav, you downloaded this recently? Any suggestions?
It removed your Outlook Express eh. Sounds like a feature. :)
In all seriousness: I take it that all of your email messages are stored locally (ie there are no copies left on the originating servers) and you are afraid that they are forever kaput?
Try making a "Desktop Shortcut" to this (or at least look for it here):
"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe"
Good Luck!
Also, your data sould be here:
C:\Documents and Settings\(Your XP Identity)\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{your identity ########## here}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
Or do a "Search" for "Inbox"...include "hidden/system files/folders".
(These 2 posts assume WinXP, NOT Windows 9x)
That's a feature.
Why would anyone be messing with Explorer anymore?
I reluctantly tried out Firefox a few months ago. Now I go back to IE occasionally and remember all over again why I finally stopped using it.
I'd personally recommend Firefox--use that if possible.

However, if you have to use IE for whatever reason, I'd say your best bet is to stick with IE 6 and wait for the release version of 7 to come out.
I have 7.0b2 on my computer--but to do FTP transactions, I have to use IE 6.
As for Outlook Express--I didn't have that problem, so unfortunately I don't know what to tell you there.
