YES SIR! Whatever you say, SIR!
Is that you, Dale Carnegie?
I'm afraid they would lose more than a few. LOL
What are you talking about? The MSM have used exactly the same tactic since at least 1962 (when I started paying attention to politics). My reading tells me it has been going on far longer, at least since FDR soiled the White House.
I think this whole thread was started by a LOUSY FREEPER TROLL.
But he was one of the "good liars. He told lies for the right reasons, don't cha know. (sarc)
How can you tell?
You're not the only one planting things in the minds of the voters:
This was the Kerry/Edwards campaign slogan in '04. Heck, this was the entire Democrat platform. I don't know why this DUmmie (if it is indeed a DUmmie) thinks this idea is in any way new, novel, untried or revolutionary.
But, But, But...what if I am not a republican? Just an independent conservative? Shudder the thought...
Here's the latest from the thread....have fun!

6. A blanket accusation won't work
BUT they do need to say "LIAR!" on an individual basis when Bush, Cheney etc blatantly lie.

14. It will work be cause they ARE liars, and would have to prove they...
...are NOT.
All Politicians lie in one way or another, the difference is, Democrats do it (or should) for the greater good, Republicans lie for the select few.

26. Democrats do it (or should) for the greater good
I don't know, but it seems to me that nobody who finds out she has been lied to, is likely to be happy about it. So I don't think Dems should lie, even for the greater good. We're either the Party of integrity, or we are not. If we are not, what makes us better than the Repukes?? And why should we lie? We have the better people, the better ideas. Just tell the truth.
Also, do you think the American people will decide the Repukes are "liars" just by us repeating it over and over. We've been doing that for years. Two additional things are needed. One, it has to be so. OK, it is so. Two, we have to get the proof, the evidence, out there. Concrete evidence not subject to several interpretations by people of ill-will. OK, and three, we have to have a vehicle to carry it for us. How to get it to the MSM? That's where the problem is, the corporate media.
If we just could get a fair shake on the MSM, we could convince the American people. In the meantime, we need to keep it up on such media as we can. The internet, AAR, etc.

27. OK, here's why
it won[t work. They don't have to prove they are not liars. You have to prove that they are. Now this can be done because, well, they are. But it has to be shown, not just yelling "liars". That proves nothing, and just makes those who make such a claim without substantiating it into something despicable. Innocent until proven guilty, ever hear of that? Put the proof out there. Concentrate on individual politicians for specific lies. Not generic BS.

7. Understanding Rove's tactics....
Is repeat the lie often enough, people start believing it.
And we know how stupid/clueless/uninformed the majority of the voters are! I mean, Bush won the election based on who would you rather have a beer with
Just this week, we all thought Kerry was leading the filibuster from the ski slopes of Darvos ! He was at an economic conference...but the sheeple didn't bother to hear those details
They pretty much admitted THEY are the liars in this statement.
Let me get this straight. Dems tell good lies and Republicans tell bad lies. It isn't wrong to tell lies, it only depends on who is telling the lie? Didn't Molly Ivans say the same thing about Clinton. I think she said his lies were endearing so they were good lies.
Hey, I've got a grrrreat strategy for bringing down DUmmieland! Here goes:
This is your brain. (pic of someone FReeping, enjoying a nice cup of coffee, with a nice ordered desk and a loyal dog patiently sitting by the FReeper, waiting to be walked, and well behaved kids in the background apparently doing homework)
This is your brain on drugs. (pic of someone on DUmmieland, finishing off a big bowl of weed, with a cluttered desk and a dog looking up at the DUmmie, with a dog piles all over the place because he hasn't been walked in weeks, and welfare kids in the background using their homework to roll some joints of their own as they play their thousandth game of Doom, all of this as the DUmmie him/herself typing out, again, for the billionth time, "JUST KEEP SAYING REPUKES ARE LIERS, THEN WE WILL WIN IN 2008, YEAH, THAT'S THE TICKET", with the all caps of course, since the other DUmmies just don't seem to be "getting" the logic. "If only they smoked weed, THEN they'd understand" the DUmmie thinks)
I think it'll work.
I like your strategy but you need to work on your spelling. Its too good!
A DUmmie admit to ANYTHING? Preposterous! (snicker)
Hey, DUmmie! Look up onus probandi in your Funk & Wagnall's, you anus probatus.
Top 100! Woohoo!
Yet, strangely, amid this plethora of Pubbie prevarication, you seem completely unable to offer any SPECIFICS.
