A full boycott of Savage should be under taken starting today. Savage should be givin no quarter. Many folks at Free Republic may agree with Savage on Immigration and a few other issues, but he should be Boycotted. He has proven to be a liberal in sheeps clothing, his relentless attacks on the President are disgusting. He is Michael Moore in Conservative Drag. I wish the so-called moderators who seem at will to delete threads for "so called Inflamatory remarks" would realize that that they are making it awfully hard to continue to support this site that routinely allows the call for the impeachment of the President. I am disgusted. Savage is a traitor to conservative's and to this county. It seems as though DU has bought off Free Republic Lock stock and ..... Savage is a traitor period. Free Republic is starting to go to the Dogs Might as well just read the Crazy's at WND. I would urge all to consider with great thought thier next donation to FreeRepublic. What say you oh great Moderator.

Cannot stand Savage for the reasons you stated. He is a flaming Liberal, with a few Conservative notions thrown in to his show get listeners.

Wow, I must be a psychic... I haven't listened to Savage in years. I thought I was just being apathetic -- I didn't realize I was engaging in a noble endeavor.

Nah, Savage is too entertaining to boycott.
I don't agree with him often. He's exactly what he says Rush and Hannity are, a showboating, vacuous bloviator... But he does hit it right often enough to merit keeping him on the air.
Remember he was a big time defender of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, and I think he was the first to give them access to a large audience. Sure he's a loony fringe radio talk show host but he doesn't do any harm, and occasionally he actually does some good.

It's a tough one.

I have already turned Savage off and I have no intention of stopping my $1.50 per day habit. FreeRepublic is the cheapest entertainment and enlightenment package around.

I have not heard Savage call for the impeachment of the President myself. I HAVE heard him attempt to hold the President to his word and to ask what he is doing to make sure that the country is truly protected and preserved as our Founding Fathers intended. Yes, he can go to the extreme in his comments but that is his right and I understand why he feels that way. He also defends our President, sincerely hopes the President will do right by this country and has said he belives the President sincerely wants to do just that.
Now, how you jump from Savage to the Free Republic being bought off by the DU is the stuff of trolls and those who need to take their meds.
Why challenge the moderator? Are you intentionally self-destructive?

Savage is a spinner of fine and gauzy threads.
He is likely as neurotic as the leftists he foams at the mouth about.
Unlike the leftists he is at least occasionally entertaining.

I agree with you that Savage is just out for himself. I cannot listen to the man for more than five minutes. I too am dismayed by all of the impeach Bush threads here and wonder who these freepers really are at times. But this is still the very best place to be.

I only heard a couple of minutes of his show today. It would be more helpful if you were specific. Yes, he's criticizing the president and, guess what, Bush is not above criticism! Sometimes he's bombastic, sometimes he's in error but he's an entertainer. He hasn't attacked FR specifically like Hannity did.

I love listening to Savage!
He's a breath of fresh air. A guy that that hold a M80 firecracker in his hand and passes a lit match over the top of it quickly. Over and over.
Yea, he seems like a frigging nutcase sometimes. He's John Belushi on the radio. He's Marion Berry smoking a crack pipe. He's the Tuttles screaming at each other because the bike might not be built on time. He's ENTERTAINMENT with a bit of sensible thought. His job is to entertain you. Psst! He's on the radio! It's not SERIOUS!
The main thing is that he is not BORING. I'm so tired of boring. I'm sick of wimps. I've had it with girly men. Gads! Sombody PUNCH someone in the face!
Michael Savage is fun. He's fun becuase he is one of a kind. That's why he is on the radio. Which has an off button by the way.
Oh, and if the truth be known a lot more people like listening to Savage than post that they do here.

Savage is a loud mouth, arrogant fool who talks in 20 second sound bites, always about a negative and supplies no answers. When the hurricane before this one hit he was bitching because so much attention was paid to the weather when there were so many bigger problems. I wonder if he now understands why we dread these things?
