"...You do realize I've had to deal with aeronautical design, orbital mechanics, mathematics, languages, and who knows what else in order to maintain the fiction of my infallibility, don't you?
Oh, don't forget clothing design..."
*koff-koff*
Er, Bobby, this is what you chose to do. Your fictional infallibility is directly related to your physical ability to maintain that infallibility....
And besides....we like you, we have agreed to your designs of our world, and we appreciate your input. The UT would have no real life without you and your infallibility...

Memries,
Like the corners of my mind
Misty water-colored memories...

'...expert at embroidering PV on my uniforms..." Well, there, see! That was certainly something that gave me trouble.
My poor thumb was sore for weeks from all the needle-pricks, (and no, Darksheare, I'm not on the trail of some trolls...)

Thank you. I was rather proud that I could come up with it in my current state.

Well, I was just in AZ last October. Simply LOVED Show Low, but the place would be swamped if we all came to town. The Grand Canyon was breathtaking but, again, there's no way we'd all be able to get lodging. So, perhaps an air-conditioned resort in Scottsdale would better suit us, maybe more than one. If there's enough interest, we could even pack out the D-Back's home dome with our cumulative presence and have a big Friday night through Sunday afternoon event with special speakers, radio personalities broadcasting their shows live from the venue, notable Conservative officials checking in (if not actually ON the speakers' ticket).
With the membership numbers on this website, we oughta at least be able to top the biggest MLM convention ever held, and do it without the obligatory blue suit and red tie.

If the FReepers want to come to AZ, we can arrange that. We just need TIME! LOL! We actually have some nice mountains around Tucson: Sabino Canyon, Madera Canyon, Sierra Vista, etc...and LOTS of "overflow area"...;o]

Ja! The home of the most liberal city in the US, Detroit.
I remember it before it was a hell hole. Now, well I have seen cities hit by 8.2 earthquakes that looked better.

I can be the bouncer.
The crowd will disperse with alacrity as soon as I start reading my poems...

Are these poems read in coffee bars with bongos playing in the background and people snap their fingers in approval. Are you wearing a black beret, a goatee, and sunglasses in these venues?
To: NicknamedBob
Not so, o bard...
Most likely, they will throw roses at your feet and beg for more...

The crowd will disperse with alacrity as soon as I start reading my poems...Great! I'll ring up an old acquaintance of mine; the retired Vogon Constructor Fleet Commander, Prostetnic Jeltz -- he's a raving poetry afficionado, you know. The two of you could have a poetry competition and we could broadcast it outside the perimeter of the venue as a substitute for armed security.

Ahh! Tokin!
I get high on Oxygen, and pheromones in bloom,
The heady scent of woman-flesh, augmented by perfume.
The smell of Autumns burning leaves, and woodsmoke in the air,
And in the Summer, fresh-cut grass, and flowers everywhere.
I like to hear a babys laugh, and whispered words of mirth,
And childrens voices raised in song, the sweetest sound on Earth!
To hear a church-bell ringing or the wailing of a train,
Appeals more to me than the roaring of a plane.
The firmness of a handshake, and ready hand to lend,
More rewarding than a treasure is the comfort of a friend.
The touch of loving gentleness, and hands held at the park,
The feel of someone close to you, grown closer after dark.
The sight of seeing friends where you expect them not to be,
And looking at a sunset, or a stately arching tree.
Seeing iridescent beauty in an oily puddles sheen,
Just takes an eye beholding joy that others call unclean.
The taste of buttered popcorn at the movies for a treat,
Or eating Christmas cookies that can never be too sweet,
The turkey baked with care for almost all the blessed day,
Life has a flavor all its own that no one ever takes away.
My senses fill with wonderment at all that is around,
While people that I see all keep their eyes upon the ground.
My attitude is like someone whos walking round in love,
For I love all the blessings that descend from up above.
