I'm not responsible for... (satires on New Zealand's leftist Labour Party government)

Another satire about New Zealand. Before we start, let me say a few words about what this satire is all about.

The leftist Labour Party is currently in power in New Zealand. It touts itself as a party providing responsible governance to the country, but the reality is very different.

Helen Clark, the Leader of Labour and Prime Minister, defamed Police Commissioner Peter Doone with fabricated leaks back in 2000 because she was interested to install a political puppet in his position.

Jonathan Hunt, the former Speaker of the New Zealand Parliament and now High Commissioner to London (equivalent to New Zealand Ambadassor to the United KIngdom), sat inside his limousine during the entire Anzac Day outdoor service as it was raining in London. ( Story here: http://www.nzpundit.com/archives/010375.html )

Paul Swain, the current Minister of Immigration, has been involved in a controversy as the Immigratioon Service had admitted three high-ranking Saddam Hussein-era Iraqi officials (one was even a cabinet minister) into New Zealand under the category of tourists visiting their families. It emerged all three went on to try applying for residency in NZ.

John Tamihere, whose rhetoric makes him a moderate/"conservative" Labour, had abandoned his cats when he moved his home recently. It turned out his cats had HIV-like equivalent virus. ( http://www.nzherald.co.nz/index.cfm?c_id=1&ObjectID=10124140 )

Trevor Mallard, the Minister of Education, is involved in a funding scandal of a tertiary institution, Te Wananga O Aotearoa, which is not even a formal university, but receiving far more than any one of the universitirs in NZ. (There is no private university here and all universities are funded with tax) http://www.act.org.nz/item.jsp?id=26637

Dover Samuels had admitted "urinating in the corridor of an Auckland hotel after he was locked out of his room following a party fundraiser". ( http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/manawatustandard/0,2106,3263457a6407,00.html )

George Hawkins, Minister of Police (he is a good personal friend of our entire family but we must not let this interfere with my disapproval of what he had done), was involved in a scandal involving the emergency phone call 111 service (equivalenbt to North America's 911 or Australia's 000, or Britain and Hong Kong's 999). It is understaffed, and in more than one occasions, the 111 operators failed to discern a truly critical dangers and subsequently a few were murdered or had been missing since (presumably dead). ( http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,3278715a6160,00.html )

It's truly a scandalous Labour government. And there are more skeletons in the cupboard for this administration - go and ask any experts in current New Zeaalnd political situations.

PM cuts her favoured few to four journalists

John Drinnan: Press gallery members 'walking on eggshells' this week

As parliamentary journalists squirm over publicity about the way news is created by leaks from the Prime Minister's Office, Helen Clark has restricted the list of favoured journalists to four.

Newstalk ZB political journalist Barry Soper remains one of the few but the identities of the others are only the subject of rumour.

The Labour government is beyond hope. And this immigrant New Zealander will avoid voting for Labour at all costs this time round.

,,, say it with a bit more conviction: "there's NO WAY in hell that labour will EVER get my vote!"
