How to beat Hillary in '08 Posted by GayPatriotWest at 10:16 PM - March 01, 2005
Today, while driving through Hollywood, I saw my first "Hillary Clinton '08" bumper sticker. When that car changed lanes, I smiled for the car in front of this one sported a "Viva, Bush!" bumper sticker. I gave a thumbs up to this Hispanic driver, delighted to know that despite our different backgrounds, we supported the president.
Last night, on "HANNITY & COLMES," former Clinton advisor Dick Morris said that Hillary has basically already sewn up the 2008 Democratic nomination and has a good chance to be elected president just under four years hence. A week ago, in his Best of the Web column, James Taranto made a similar comment:
the most likely next president of the United States is Hillary Clinton. We're not saying the odds of a Clinton presidency are higher than 50%, just that they're higher than for any other individual. While I agree that the odds of Hillary becoming president are less than 50%, I still think (alas!) that she has a good shot of winning.
No way in hell. Any conservative that would fall for a political ploy that obvious would probably fall for the rest of the Dem lies.
And besides, I doubt McCain will be the nominee. And if he is, he'll take enough of her base to it won't matter.
Heheh! Why, thank you!
Here's one to keep you awake nights:
Ward Churchill is a hatriot.
How to beat Hillary in '08: throw a bucket of water on her.
Didn't the Clintons carry part of the Southwest during the 90's ? What makes you think they can't do it again ?
"That's heresy."
Not at all.
God's Word is interpreted through man and man is a fallible creature.
Between the writing and the translation and the reading, there is much room for error.
God's Deeds are plain for all to see.
It is clear to me that God makes some people gay--and it is NOT a choice they have made--so I must respect His deeds before I give credence to some man's interpretation of His word.
"Grow a backbone, you can do it. Women are gorgeous and they make you feel like the King of the World when you find the right one."
I've been blessed to know many gorgeous women who have made me grow more than a backbone. I married the most recent one, twenty-one years ago, and have felt like the King of the World ever since. Thank you.
It's also hard to believe someone would become so addicted to something that they would abandon their family, their job, their home...their everything. But people do it.
Ahhhh, ok, if you say so.
Someone who takes the a name to mock southerners is full of crap also.
Hillary was always the brains of that operation.
And Hillary has spent enough time in red America to understand how to reach it. They got southern states before. They can do it again.
A point I always make again, and again, and again is that the religious conservative is the child and grandchild of a New Deal Democrat and the great grandchild of a William Jennings Bryan Populist. Once you get past cultural issues with them, they will listen to an appeal based on economic populism.
Yes, but that doesn't matter. Bill had political brains, but that wasn't his biggest selling point. Others could match him for that.
What made Bill great was pure, unadulterated charisma. Hillary has, oh, maybe 5% of the charisma Bill has.
And keep in mind, Bill NEVER got 50% of the vote. He needed all his charisma, and a little luck (i.e. Perot, a fractured party in 92 and a bad nominee in 96) to get and stay elected. I don't think Hillary can do it. She wasn't even well liked nationally when Bill was at his highest.
i dam sure am a southerner, or Georgia sits right next to Maine
