VANITY: The "Truth" about JimRob and Free Republic according to BADJOE
LibertyPost.org | 10/10/03 | BADJOE (Slightly revised by JimRob)

Posted on 10/10/2003 2:23:07 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Edited on 10/10/2003 2:27:00 PM PDT by Jim Robinson. [history]

Dear Free Republic Friends,

My old friend and brother-in-arms BADJOE has promised to warm the cockles of our hearts by publishing an expose (the truth about JimRob and Free Republic according to Joe) on the 18th of this month, which represents the one year anniversary of the date he last posted to FreeRepublic.com and started up with LibertyPost.org.

So, as I believe that only the truth can set you free, and based upon the stratergery of pre-emptive strike, I have a confession to make (before BADJOE makes it public):

I have poisoned the well.

By my sly innuendos behind the scenes.

By my intellectual ineptitude.

By not trusting those that brung me to the dance to bring me home.

By my biting every hand that fed me.

By my arrogance that causes me to think I did it all by myself.

By my stubborness not because of principle, but because of my lack of ability to see what is transpiring.

Evidenced by:

One would think that with half again as many Freepers. with a recovering economy, It would take a great deal less time to raise the necessary funds.

By this time in the June 2002 effort with a goal of $70,000 we had raised $73,000. Not because of who did the fundraising, but because the sense of purpose, of family, of comaraderie, was still present.

BADJOE rang the warning bell, but none heard.

Conclusion:

It is a sad day.

For what was once a great hope, a means of bringing together those who are willing to pay dearly in blood, sweat, and money to save this country, we all love, has been reduced to an asterisk.

So sayeth BADJOE as he promises to publish all this and much more on the 18th. He's been feverishly working on this "project" for one full year. In addition to the "truth about JimRob" BADJOE intends to further betray our trust placed in him by revealing the names of our moderators. And who knows what else?

I can hardly wait.

Is it the 18th yet? Tick, tock.

What's sour grapes? --
-- You mean the 'special' people around here? Good grief. I wouldn't trade places with em if paid..

Shooting down their hypocrisies offer the best sporting opportunies available at FR.

I know nothing of this theory - sounds like bunk to me.

I always thought that Native American culture was interesting - especially if they were isolated from the rest of mankind for so long. So much is so similar to other cultures.

Makes me think that maybe migration was happening allot more recently - though I am NO expert.

Now here is our Top Ten list, which we had to expand to 12 because so many people wanted to be on it......we cut it off at 12 to keep ourselves "exclusive!"

I am really hurt. Have I lost my edge? Have I failed in some way?

Well a Phoenician ship was found in the waters of Latin America and the Phoenicians were tied closely with Solomon in 1000 BC. So the odds are high that there were small migrations occuring long before Columbus.

A good example is the latest thread which through the baiting and insults of Vade Retro got pulled into the smokey backroom Scientists Vei to Break Junk DNA [broken link] where at about post# 90 when the thread showed how evolution was wrong, the usual suspects Vade, Patrick, Aric2000 (aka Ogmios) started for 500 some posts insulting me specifically and spamming the entire thread.

We don't talk anymore, but you've made charges so I'm answering.

Your link is broken. I thought that was too bad, as the falsehood of your claims would be more evident if some working links were provided.

The page containing post 90. Nobody's earning a Nobel by overturning evolution. As for incivility, you do see a post by stanz asking you ...

What happened to the agreement on the evo/creationist threads that we are supposed to civil with one another...or did that go by the wayside?
That is in reply to your post 14 on that thread. And why is there a question about civility arising from that?

That is the kind of arrogance and uninformed nonsense that evolutionists have been spewing and has been completely refuted by science. Only evos would be so stupid and/or dishonest to claim that 95% of DNA is junk just there so they could prove their stupid theory. Evolution has done more harm to science and consequently killed numerous people with their dishonest arrogance.
Ah! "Arrogance uninformed nonsense stupid dishonest stupid killed numerous people" is reasoned discourse.

My first post on the thread is on the next page. It's to Nebullis. It's a joke. Nobody is attacking you. Nobody is answering you except MonroeDNA, civilly. He doesn't know he's wasting his time. You're there screaming "evolution = atheism" at Modernman.

But it starts getting shrill a page later. Here's a nice outburst:

It is obvious that a certain poster here is just here to destroy the thread and indulge in personal attacks. This is the way of Communists, Nazis, Clintonites and other adherents to numerous tyrannies which all conservatives and people who believe in freedom utterly despise. Science is not their game, character assassination is their game and they are out to destroy everyone and anyone who dares to give out the facts against their theory.

The evolutionists have destroyed some dozen threads since they supposedly agreed to be civil - including the threads discussing the agreement. This thread was doing fine until a certain poster and his hangers on came into it. You can be sure that they will destroy it because their purpose is to silence the truth and those who tell it.

On the same page, DittoJed2 responds to your ping with a post to Ogmios.

Why did they let you back in here, Aric? First, you tried to sign on to designeduniverse.com and got banned there, then you tried to sign on here as jaguar, and got banned again, now you're back as Ogmios. And don't bother denying it. Your earlier posts show you are no newby and you're not even trying to hide your identity any more.
Yes, you and the other DU-II crew are really keeping the discussion zeroed in on those scientists zeroing in on the junk DNA. The hunt for Ogmios is on. My second post on the thread is 161. It's to Ogmios, not any of your troupe. Note that the thread is already thoroughly derailed.

But how do you characterize what has happened?

A good example is the latest thread which through the baiting and insults of Vade Retro ...

Dadgummit, BJ!

You would have to start this nonsense just when I was about to buy one of those super duper chairs you invented!

C'mon back to the fold, BJ!
I want to see you at the tailgate party next year.

I was over on LP for awhile, too, and there's some good people there.
There's also some flakes, and the percentage is a lot higher than on FR!

He hit her with a fish.

You mean the famous Man Hits Woman With Fish Thread we had a few years ago could have possibly been used as a defense argument?? The old Cherokee Creation Story Defense. I should have seen it coming. Arlen Spectre just THINKS he has the market cornered in obscure law..

You need to go over here and place your guesses:

Place Your Bets: Guess the Subject of FR's One Millionth Thread! Win Nothing!

My Guess: it will be BADJOE's BIG TIME epistle letting the sun shine in on FR BUT GOOD......

Another may be about Klayman dropping out of the FL Senate race when he finds out he can't use th RNC mailing list asking for donations......

Apologize for what? He pretty much summed-up what has occured. And it's hilarious to see you, of all people, suggesting someone apologize for a statement they made. Bwahahahaha

You just make me feel tired. I pity you, I really do.

"Oh no! You fixed your typo. I always liked that typo. :^)"

Bwahahaha....

I don't know if I've ever told you this, but when I went to sign up, I was planning on using your exact screenname. After several denied attempts at signing up using different variations incorporating #3, I decided to come up with another screen name. Right at that moment, fox was replaying a President Bush speech and I swore I heard him say "We must remain viligant", which inspired me come up with viligantcitizen.

Now I've never claimed to be a genius, but I've always considered myself to be good at spelling, and the thought of looking it up in the dictionary never crossed my mind, until three weeks later when a poster brought up the typo.

After dictionary.com confirmed my error, and a short period of "How could I be so stupid?" contemplation, I decided to leave the error be as a reminder to myself to always verify and proofread.
