Would Jesus promote a homosexual (not an ex-homo a current homo) into the leadership of his ministry? So, in your mind, a president's administration is the equivalent of a ministry?
What gay person did President Bush treat like a human being now? I wish he'd cut that out!</ extreme sarcasm>

Never imply my acceptance or agreement with mis-treating any human.
You are demonizing me in order to invalidate my point.
I do not want to hurt gays, nor do I want to make rules against them. I seek equal treatment and no special treatment for all.
And no a president's administration is not the equivalent of a ministry.
A Christian (which Bush says he is) IS supposed to emulate Christ. I do not think Christ would elevate those in direct disobedience.
And there is a difference between LIVING sin daily and sinning every now and then.

I disagree with Bush on this issue. That is okay.
I do not hate him
I do not hate gays
Anyone who says or implies otherwise is a liar.

To answer for CC - YES, government is supposed to be a ministry. And when one is a Christian, anything they're involved in (like being President) should be a ministry.
Rom 13:1-6 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ORDAINED of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the MINISTER of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the MINISTER of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's MINISTERS, attending continually upon this very thing.

It dawned on me that maybe you all didn't see Todd's original title for this thread:

Which six sodomites did Bush place in positions of power? Which six sodomites did Bush appoint instead of good loyal conservatives?
Which Christian got dumped to pacify the sodomite lobby?
Better question: Why?
