Campaigners say the true rate of paternity fraud - the intentional misidentification of a child's biological father - remains unknown

Men are being left heartbroken after investing time, resources, love and energy into raising children they believed were theirs - only to find out it was all a lie.

This breach of trust not only impacts the men who were falsely led to believe they were fathers but also deeply hurts the children involved and others connected to the situation.

Paternity fraud refers to the deliberate misidentification of a child's biological father. One of the most shocking aspects of this issue is that no one seems to have a clear understanding of its true extent.

How many men are unknowingly playing the role of father - oblivious that their lives could be shattered at any moment? The brutal reality leaves victims questioning their identities and feeling crushed - often wondering how they ended up in such a situation.

Statistics on the percentage of men affected by paternity fraud in the UK vary dramatically according to different studies. Figures vary, with a 2018 study from the University of Warwick estimating 3% and a 2021 study from the University of Oxford suggesting 1%.

Conversely, in one striking study by DNA Clinics, a subsidiary of the BioClinics Group in Salford, looking at 5,000 results randomly selected from January 2014 to June 2016, found that a staggering 48% of the men tested were not the biological father.

DNA testing technology has advanced enough to pick up on fetal DNA that 'leaks' into the maternal blood stream as early as 7-9 weeks. It just requires a blood draw from the mother, and cheek swabs from any prospective fathers for a yes/no answer. It's still a fairly new technology and not covered by many insurerers, but as with anything DNA related expect it to very rapidly get cheaper and catch on. It's called Non-Invasive Paternity Testing (just google it).

Amniocentesis can still do it sooner, but as Waverunner mentioned, it comes with a small but significant risk to the fetus- up to and including miscarriage from infection or loss of amniotic fluid.

One very particular downside to non-invasive paternity testing is that because it's relying on DNA strands in the mother's blood plasma, it's completely worthless for fraternal twins, because the two sequences cannot be separated and can 'overlap' enough to give false results- they're completely intermingled in the mother's bloodstream- whereas amniocentesis gives whole cells with separable genomes and can discriminate paternity, if one uses a higher grade / more expensive version of the procedure.

But yeah, we're on the cusp of an era where paternity can be determined in a yes/no fashion against the father's sample less than half a trimester into the pregnancy.

Its not just feminists that would oppose it. All cheating women oppose it as well. Any woman wanting to claim a certain guy is the father by her word alone, opposes it.

The other massive argument for it is to ensure genetic history and certainty of both parents, for the child. No one seems to remember paternity is a big issue for the child.

The final minor butreal issue is genetic confirmation of parents is important because there are rare occasions of parents leaving the hospital with the wrong baby.

And ahole judges who force men to pay child support for someone else’s kid should be kicked off the bench.

Certainly forced to pay back the non-father for anything he's paid, and the soon-to-be ex-judge should also be forced to pay child support going forward until the real father is identified. ("It's for the child, not the mother").

The ex-judge in such a case is a knowing and willful co-conspirator to fraud.

And think of the children who get screwed the most when their real dad is unknown and when the man lied to by their real mom has checked out emotionally & most often abandons the ship that he only boarded due to fraud.

Children need to be taught young that most adults are liars, schemers, adulterers, grifters, gold-diggers, whores, cucks, simps, perverts, etc., including a majority of their own parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

We're not going to change the behavior of adults. The least we can do is warn children about who they walk amongst. We tell them not to talk to strangers due to potential danger. We also need to teach them to "check their six".
