So our FRiend Mark Levin is in Israel as its being bombarded with drones and missiles by Iran.
(Please Pray for Peace)
Kudos to him for being there as some of us have in the past accused him of being a chickenhawk.
I'm looking forward to his reports actually if he does any.
Life goes on there. I just saw on the BBC bars etc. are open.
But I was wondering what Freepers thought of the dual loyalty question ?
Mark could become an Israeli citizen if he so wanted and younger Jewish people often volunteer and fight in their military (from all nations).
Does this sit well with you? How do America firsters feel about this?
I have no doubts about Mark Levin. He is a great American and we are fortunate to have him. But he is a Jew too and there is no conflict between supporting Israel and being an American.
Those in political offices should be resigning from U.S. government because they don't belong there anyway.
I heard one report that he did tonight.
(I can’t figure out the point of your post. Do you expect a man of his age to sign-up and fight? And what do YOU think should be done about ‘dual loyalty’?)
I mentioned younger people do it
I’m actually surprised he went 😲
Where is he reporting? For Fox?
I asked you two questions.
I’m wondering how other Freepers feel
I’ve never been that comfortable with younger gen volunteering in the IDF but alot of them feel a loyalty and a duty dont they?
I was a Catholic but the Church of Rome left me, I did not leave it. When a Catholic the Church of Rome did not dictate my political beliefs as Israel does not dictate the politics of Mark Levin. He is a patriot of our nation.
I have a on/off feeling about him
Sometimes he is very insulting to people with my POV.
I don’t believe in dual citizenship. It means you don’t back either country.
I have family that emigrated here. They removed their citizenship from their native countries.
Now they are only US citizens. Anyone who can vote in elections in two countries is a fraud.
For the record, again, a “chickenhawk” is a person who is scared but heads toward the danger anyway.
That is why, the combination: “chicken” PLUS “hawk”. (Instead of only “chicken”.)
The expression was a compliment made to troops in South Vietnam.
Speaking for friends and allies, plural.
And what about fighting in a military of a foreign power?
Many do this. (younger ones...)
I have no problems with fighting in a foreign war, but not against their own country.
That’s interesting yes.
Fighting against your country would make you a traitor under the law and subject to the death penalty.
Why the hell would you even suggest this? You are clearly a miserable anti-Semite.
I haven’t had the TV on a lot tonight, but he did call in and report with Brian Kilmeade at about 10:30 PM Eastern.
I’m clearly not.
It’s a serious question worthy of debate and often comes up
Well, I don’t know what your ‘POV’ is, but I believe that Levin is a treasure. He’s a brilliant legal mind and a great spokesman and promoter of the American political philosophy and system.
I imagine he’s done much more good in that regard than you do here. (And that’s intended as a fact, not an insult.)
Thank you I will keep an eye on that. I wouldn’t mind hearing from him on the ground.
Next up I wonder if Ben Shapiro will go there.
He would actually be able to fight in the IDF wouldn’t he?
I can’t remember how old he is but he often likes to talk tough
All Neocons should be prepared to fight or even have their children do it.
Many do not.
He can be very insulting sometimes
Other times I do find myself agreeing with him
