A woman has revealed the moment she fell for a death-row inmate, before spiraling into a life of drugs. Benjamin Ritchie was driving a stolen van in 2000 when a police officer saw him and gave chase. After wrecking the van, Ritchie fired five shots. One of the bullets killed the cop.

While living on death row, Ritchie appeared in a YouTube documentary, where he caught the eye of Ivana, then 24. She decided to write to him and from there, romance blossomed.

Her own father spent time in jail during her youth.

She’s trying to make 24 sound young?
I’m sure it happens (much less often) but you don’t hear about men marrying women on death row.
Read the story she’s an absolute immoral mess and an idiot.
I'll never forget one young convict whose mother came to see him. She worked all week, got on a bus in New York City at midnight, rode 5 hours to visit her kid. And instead of greeting his mother with "Hi Mom, thanks for coming...how are you doing?" It was "What did you bring me?"
The men get on death row when they say I do... /s
The most common sentence in the diaries of liberals?
Look people. There’s ‘structure’ in these relationships. She knows where he’s gonna be and she can ‘long’ for him when he’s not there. Even conjugal visits are structured. Anyone remember Richard Ramirez the night stalker?
It would be sad if it wasn’t so funny.
IN context, judge not lest ye be judged, the issue is hypocrisy. If you have not mastered a sin, do not try to teach others that sin is wrong. If you teach it, others will be watching to see if you walk the walk and give you the same judgement that you have given them.
It is not about not saying anything when you see somebody do wrong. Abby twisted Scripture.
These are the women that rejected you for “bad guys”. You should thank God for unanswered prayers. You could have ended up with a drug addicted woman that aged really early.
Huh. And some still claim that most women aren’t bat crap crazy.
Women who “fall in love” with death row inmates could trigger a shelf of books about their special kinds of mental illness.
New meaning to “until death do us part.”
Years ago we had a weird guy that worked in our data processing dept. who corresponded with women that were in prison.....
There’s a cable tv show called “love during lockup” and a follow up “love after lockup”. It follows idiots, both men and women who “fall in love” with convicts. The convicts use these people for money and “can’t wait to get out and be with them”, until the day comes when they are released and then it’s a whole different ballgame.
Actually, America’s young are so pampered, spoiled and stupid, psychologists (and, I hate those charlatans) have bumped the actual age of “adulthood” to 30.
I remember reading of women falling for prisoners fifty years ago. Actress Sue Lyons(Lolita) is a fine example. “a subsequent marriage to imprisoned murderer Cotton Adamson in 1973.”
I believe the Boston Marathon Bomber gets lots of marriage proposals.
Death row groupies. It’s a real thing.
