MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has admitted he is unable to pay attorneys representing him and his company, after going broke fighting massive defamation suits over his stolen election claims.
In a court filing on Thursday, Lindell's attorneys said he owes 'millions of dollars' in unpaid legal fees, and sought to drop him as a client in defamation lawsuits brought by Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic USA.
The financial fallout from the controversy has been intense for Lindell, after a number of key retail chains severed ties with MyPillow.
In July, Lindell told DailyMail.com that his company has lost a staggering $100 million since Walmart and Bed Bath & Beyond pulled his products over his false claims of election fraud.
The bedding mogul said on Thursday that he is 'out of money' and praised his lawyers as courageous, saying he regretted he was unable to pay their fees.
'We've lost everything, every dime,' Lindell told NBC News. 'All of it is gone.'
Lindell has not made any payments on his legal bills since July, his lawyers at Parker Daniels Kibort and Lewin & Lewin told federal judges in Minnesota and Washington, DC overseeing the separate defamation cases.
Parker Daniels Kibort co-founder Andrew Parker said in a court filing that forcing his firm to continue representing Lindell without payment 'could threaten the very existence of the firm.'
Parker did not immediately respond to a request for comment from DailyMail.com on Thursday night.
Lindell told Reuters he was the victim of 'lawfare' and that he is unable to borrow money to fund his defense. He said he is looking for new counsel.
'We'll find someone, that's the way it is,' Lindell said.
Dominion is seeking $1.3 billion in damages from Lindell and his pillow company in the Washington case.

“Maybe he should have stuck to selling pillows. Mixing business with politics is a bad idea.”
Ever hear of John Hancock?
The guy has all the characteristics of someone who neglects his business and other life responsibilities in pursuit of something that’s way out of his comfort zone.
Blessings.

You don’t quite get it. The Air Jordan was so successful because Michael Jordan (a Democrat) stayed out of politics and famously said “Republican buy shoes too”.
Lindell was the face of MyPillow. So he couldn’t separate his political activities from his business. It would never work
I have a couple sets. Yes, they are decent. Go ahead and buy some.
And some get their heads chopped off. If you want to play the game, you have to be willing to deal with the consequences.
They’re good sheets. I have two sets.
He has an addictive personality; he admits to that. The 2020 election fraud is his current drug of choice. Not that he’s wrong about it, because he’s 100% correct. But it seems he let that completely unbalance his life.
Unfortunately, there are no good answers, and he’s tilting at windmills. Like Trump, he had no clue how vile, dangerous, and ruthless the deep state is.
Interesting. I’ll check it out. Thanks brother, or sister, whichever you are! :-)
Mike Lindell is a Christian and a patriot
God bless him.
He sacrificed all for Trump and now?
Love mine.
I prefer my serta pillow
Amen brother. He has a heart for what is right. He could have easily shrugged his shoulders and turned his back, but instead, he laid it all down and fought for our way of life. That is a Christian heart. It baffles me that anyone can attack him for that. An unhinged liberal I can see doing that. But a supposed conservative? I don’t understand that.
“He sacrificed all for Trump and now?”
We’ll see. Trump is known to be overly loyal to those who are loyal to him.
Either the stories about him kicking Rudy to the curb are lies, or Rudy did something egregious to Trump that we’re not aware of. It has to make sense, and it doesn’t.

Like?
It’s dead simple to see where this is all heading, and at a rapid pace: We will either become powerless serfs or will be branded “insurrectionists” and “dangerous right wing extremists.” Only if a large enough segment of the population chooses the latter will we have any chance of reversing the destruction of America.
Well stated, FRiend.
