MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has admitted he is unable to pay attorneys representing him and his company, after going broke fighting massive defamation suits over his stolen election claims.
In a court filing on Thursday, Lindell's attorneys said he owes 'millions of dollars' in unpaid legal fees, and sought to drop him as a client in defamation lawsuits brought by Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic USA.
The financial fallout from the controversy has been intense for Lindell, after a number of key retail chains severed ties with MyPillow.
In July, Lindell told DailyMail.com that his company has lost a staggering $100 million since Walmart and Bed Bath & Beyond pulled his products over his false claims of election fraud.
The bedding mogul said on Thursday that he is 'out of money' and praised his lawyers as courageous, saying he regretted he was unable to pay their fees.
'We've lost everything, every dime,' Lindell told NBC News. 'All of it is gone.'
Lindell has not made any payments on his legal bills since July, his lawyers at Parker Daniels Kibort and Lewin & Lewin told federal judges in Minnesota and Washington, DC overseeing the separate defamation cases.
Parker Daniels Kibort co-founder Andrew Parker said in a court filing that forcing his firm to continue representing Lindell without payment 'could threaten the very existence of the firm.'
Parker did not immediately respond to a request for comment from DailyMail.com on Thursday night.
Lindell told Reuters he was the victim of 'lawfare' and that he is unable to borrow money to fund his defense. He said he is looking for new counsel.
'We'll find someone, that's the way it is,' Lindell said.
Dominion is seeking $1.3 billion in damages from Lindell and his pillow company in the Washington case.

I never said that, or have any idea what you are talking about. I simply said Lindell should have signed a deal with Trump for some pillow purchases, before going all in on Trump's defense, which could have a negative impact on his business, which it clearly has. Maybe he did, but it wasn't enough to save Lindell, apparently. And I've supported the guy all along.
But attaching yourself to Trump never turns out well, because he won't defend you when it matters. Ask Giuliani, McCarthy, you name it. Trump will abandon you in heartbeat, and leave you for dead.

Maybe he should have stuck to selling pillows. Mixing business with politics is a bad idea.
The tipping point was George Floyd in 2020. All his political activities are as a private citizen. He never involved his "My Pillow" company in any of his political activities.
He’s no dummy. He needs to ask for detailed invoices of hourly billables, and question ALL of it, line by line, and challenge them to prove “value”. Make it an accounting audit so that he’s not billed again. These guys are criminal!

Why do you think he ran for President in 2016? Why do you think he placed everything on the line and worked for free in the WH?
How do you feel he only seemed to have his own interests at heart?
He witnessed America being destroyed and due to his Presidency, and what they’ve done to him proves he has been over the target. When his enemies have achieved their goals will you be happy?

I see this same lawfare as what they did to Sarah Palin. It is a tragedy this is allowed to happen.
