Where does infidelity begin? For some, infidelity starts long before a kiss or a more intimate relationship.
It can start with a look, a text message, a coffee date… These actions may seem insignificant or minor, but when put together, they can be the first signs of infidelity. Hence, the term micro-cheating.
This could be described as gentle flirting with someone who is not your partner. Micro-cheating does not involve physical contact. With micro-cheating, it’s more a question of emotional infidelity.
This betrayal could even be more complicated to manage for the person who has been “cheated on.” In fact, this breakdown of emotional trust in a couple could cause more damage than “physical” infidelity.
However, each couple has its own definition of infidelity. So, what can be qualified as micro-cheating in one relationship can also be considered irrelevant to another couple.
It is up to each couple to define their own definition of fidelity and the boundaries that should not be crossed. The key is to communicate within the relationship.
Micro-cheating is becoming more and more common due to the multitude of online conversations and the many social networks we now use.
“Micro cheating”....?
*snort* Go big or stay home, I always say.
Not if he's wearing dark sunglasses and his wife doesn't catch him.
So did Trump. Cheated on all his wives. Scumbag behavior, but everyone loves him around here. But it’s the same with Clinton. He cheated on his wife in public basically in spectacular fashion. But Dems could care less. They love the guy. Both sides guilty.
It is, or it is not.
The “micro” category is bullshit.
Micro aggression, micro cheating, etc. Its merely a way to characterize normal, well adjusted behavior into some kind of remediable attack. Opens doors to call normal stuff, like having a friendly conversation, a “micro” whatever.
Normals are already intimidated into curbing normal “macro” behavior. Not enough for the commie. They want it all - especially where it is so small it can’t be observed - so any conduct, of whatever nature, can be claimed as offensive.
Is this having affairs with elves, dwarves, leprechauns & pixies and other ‘little people’? Maybe that’s nano-cheating and micro-cheating is affairs with ‘little people’?
Enquiring minds want and need to know?
Jimmy Carter said, "I have lusted in my heart and God knows and forgives me."
Bill Clinton said, "It depends on what the meaning of, 'is' is."
I say just cause a dog is chained to the porch doesn't mean he can't bark at the traffic.
“looks at another woman in a bikini at the beach...”
Matthew 5:28 (Douay Rheims):
But I say to you, that whosoever shall look on a woman to lust after her, hath already committed adultery with her in his heart.
You make the call.
It depends what’s on his mind at the time.
You look, you look away. That’s been tge shorthand rule.
If the eyes dwell, if the eyes return after looking away, we know what is in the mind of the man in question. And we know what he is doing in his heart.
I'd say the answer's right there in the middle.
Does the woman have any culpability in this case, if the man lusts after her in her bikini?
Can micro-cheating cause someone to get a little bit pregnant?
Is “a Tiny Bit Unfaithful” anything like being just a little bit pregnant?
“If a happily married man looks at another woman in a bikini at the beach, is he being unfaithful?”
Just ‘cuz I already placed my order don’t mean I can’t still look at the menu.
My grandfather was talking to his brother at a family event and said, “I was in a department store the other day sitting waiting for my wife — you ever notice the kinda shoes women are wearing these days?”
“No,” his brother says, “somehow or ‘nother I don’t ever get that far down.”
Custody of the eyes.
My wife and I have always had an agreement. She points out girls in bikinis and I point out guys in tight biker shorts. In other words, we can look but not touch.
Plus she loves to eat at Twin Peaks.
We got married when I was 18 and she was 19, and this September we will have been married 55 years. So something must be working.
My first wife was a disaster and so I moved to Manhattan Beach when we started divorce proceedings, the pickup capital of America. I shared an apartment with a former colleague who is a professional pussy-hunter. One night, we walked over to one of Manhattan’s famous pickup bars for some beers. He said there were 2 chicks down at the end of the bar...and he went after them. The last thing I wanted was a woman...give me beer, it is more reliable. Finally, I joined them. The conversation was good and refreshing. I was talking with Jane when her girlfriend wanted to go home and take Jane with her. I told her friend that I would take Jane home. Her friend resisted, to which I said, “What do you think I am gong to do, cut her into pieces and dump them into a dumpster somewhere?” Jane told me years later that my comment sparked what would become our lifelong marriage. My roommate and Jane’s girlfriend left and Jane and I had more beers and conversation before I drove her home. It took more than a year to get her to marry me...and adopt her two daughters by her first marriage. That was 43 years ago, and we are still in love. Life in America is great for those of us who care about each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All women are guilty of microcheating then.
This tgpe of neurotic BS is yet one more reason not to be involved with them.
I think there's a big difference between "Wow - she's hot" and "Wow - I'd like to **** her". The muslim solution is pure legalism. The real God knows the heart and whether you are "lusting" in it. I've never physically cheated on my wife, but I've crossed the line that Jesus drew a few times - more when I was younger, and physical lust was still a thing. So we confess and ask forgiveness and it's cast into the sea of forgetfulness.
