My Hai Karate will NEVER go out of style!
What is “cologne?”
s/
Not the person to ask. The only scent I try to use is the scent of soap.
I always figure a girl with too much perfume is hiding something I don’t want to smell. Can’t think that most of them wouldn’t think that about men as well.
Two companies, one French, one American, produce virtually all colognes, perfumes, etc.
They are unknown to consumers since they sell to marketing companies (who are known to consumers).
The French company is Givaudan https://www.givaudan.com/ and the American is IFF, International Flavors and Fragrances.

Inside trivia: the men and women who actually create new fragrances are known as “noses”.
You’re welcome!
My Mother’s favorite back in the 60’s was Persian Wood.
It wasn’t until a few years ago, I realized the name was
not Persian WOOL. That’s how it sounded to my childhood ears.
I have allergies, so I just use vapor rub.
I’ve been wearing Aliage for 40+ years.
I'd wager nobody has ever heard of it.
The ladies in my family spanning 3 generations are and were (now deceased with 2) White Linen wearers. It’s timeless and classy. My grandmother, mother, and my wife.
Any man that wears perfume is kind of a douchebag. It’s pretty gross to smell hair tonic, perfume, soap, etc. wafting off of a dude.
Hell, I still have a bottle of English Leather some chick gave me in 1976.
Jade East - great on the rocks
Old Spice and Hai Karate never go out of style.
Love Drakkar. Givenchy Gentleman is my very favorite.
Stopped about 30 years ago. Do not recall why....
Now I live in a warm climate and never notice anyone wearing it.
Same with perfume. Not an island thing I guess.
people usually only hate it if they’ve been overwhelmed with it for years, and i mean way too strong, like a gal or guy has bathed themselves in it
or they really love itand thats why they bathe in it
or they smell it the first time and say never again
Yes, they do go out of style. I guess it might be fairer to say that they get associated with a certain generation or demographic.
I’m a GenXer and I used to love Cool Water, Eternity and Nautica. I stopped using the Eternity because something about it bothered my eyes. My best friend used to love wearing Polo.
My old college girlfriend used Estee Lauder’s Pleasures and I absolutely loved it.
I imagine most millenials and zoomers want nothing to do with what either of us used in the 90’s.
I wear Patrick from Ireland for the past 20 years. I don’t care if it goes out of style as long as I can get it sent to America.
OMG!!!! Had a coworker wear tons of that stuff….
Very strong and distracting at work.
Told him to knock it off.
