‘I’m still exhaling’: Swing-state voters on Biden’s 100 days [fakest ‘news’ and TDS]
Associated Press ^ | April 29, 2021 | Thomas Beaumont

Standing on the sidelines of her son’s soccer practice in this upscale suburb, Laura Hahn looked skyward for answers when asked how she would rate President Joe Biden’s first 100 days in office.

Overall, Biden is doing well, she said after a few minutes of thought. But she acknowledged her judgment is as much a feeling of relief as an analysis of accomplishments.

“I’m still exhaling,” Hahn said, referencing the tumultuous tenure of President Donald Trump. “It’s been exhausting.”

At the 100-day marker, polls show most Americans are like Hahn, giving the new president positive marks for his early performance.

But in this pocket of swing-state Wisconsin, where a surge in suburban Milwaukee helped put Biden in the White House, interviews with voters show that support for the Democratic president often falls short of adulation. Biden continues to get credit for bringing stability to the coronavirus crisis — and for not being Trump — but there are signs that goodwill only goes so far. […]

Despite these concerns, many voters said they were just enjoying the reprieve from the jaw-dropping headlines of the Trump era, now that Biden is in the White House.

How dare they fall short of adulation!

And who was it who wrote the “jaw-dropping headlines” with no substance in the actual articles, eh?

“where a surge in suburban Milwaukee”

To correct INGSOC-AP’s statement it should read “a surge of cheating in suburban Milwaukee”.

These people are drones. Aside from their robotic voting they play no part in issues of freedom or slavery. That they care about headlines exposes them as vacuous. They are simply sheep.

The AP is leftist propaganda at the source. A lot of their spew gets repeated by other media outlets.

The “steal” aside, the 2020 election was manipulated into a referendum on Trump’s demeanor rather than the issues. Most of those who voted for Biden were actually voting against Trump and not against his policies.

Thomas Beaumont may have sat at his desk and written the entire piece from his imagination, including fictional conversations with fictional characters.

Another Democrat voter who can't fog a mirror without help...

The left are woefully unlearned about issues. She admits she didn’t even know what his accomplishments were.

A reporter went to a liberal college, and asked students “which presidential candidate said the following racist remarks”. He listed several blatantly racist remarks, and the students al. Got visibly angry, and declared that it was Trump who said them. Looks of disgust on their faces

Of course Republicans knew the answer to the question, because many of us are informed and know what is truly going on.

The reported said “would it surprise you to learn that it was Biden who said zl. Those racist remarks?”

They immediately changed their demeanor and said thi gs li,e ‘I don’t care, that doesn’t excuse the racist things that Trump has said’ (yet incredibly none of them clu.d name anything other than what the msm falsely accused Trump of saying, to back up their false statement)

They also 3xcused Biden for saying those things.

The left don’t care about the truth. They are full of hate, and nothing will dissuade them fro hating Republicans and all the moral decent things Republicans stand for. Republicans are like a mirror to the left who see their own reflection and see just how ugly it really is, so the ,eft has to destroy the mirror so that they won’t be reminded how weifl the democrats really are

“Overall, Biden is doing well, “ said the clueless soccer Mom.

This is a large part of the problem: People who can’t think and who refuse to think.

Hard to win against people like that.

Actually it isn’t hard to win against them, hence the “surge” referred to.

Most of those who voted for Biden were actually voting against Trump and not against his policies.

Let's ignore cheating for a moment. I realize that it is likely that cheating took place. That said.

I know people who voted for Biden in '20 because they hated Trump's personality. They were the same folks who voted for Trump over Hillary in '16. So there you go. Many FReepers won't want to hear this but at times Trump was his worst enemy.

Trump era was exhausting because the media made sure we would be mentally exhausted. Their propaganda war is sick, corrupt and destructive to the conscience and culture of a nation

How do you know that? or rather presume that?

Trump was less “abrasive” in 2020 than in 2016. So your alleged voters don’t have that excuse. And Democrats have said things that are several orders of magnitude worse.

At least they did/do not exist in sufficient numbers to make the steal “unnecessary”.

Mainstream media controlled the narrative. Hostility turned off some “independent” voters. Was it fair? No. Trump should had realized that and not have taken bait. I’m sure his advisors warned him about it. He didn’t listen. His instincts led him to victory 1st time around right? A lot of it was luck. His opponent was Hillary. America hated Hillary. So what Trump should have done is to Instead pull a Reagan on his way to 2nd term victory. Morning in America campaign compared to Biden’s nightmare in America. That would have helped him to win the reelection. Maybe. That’s just my post election analysis.
