Ben Keita, an 18-year-old black Muslim, was missing for months. His body, which was found hanging from a tree, hints at a possible hate crime.
Keita was first reported missing in November, just months prior to his graduation from Lake Stevens High School, where he dreamed of working in the medical field, according to his father, Ibrahima Keita. Roughly a month after he disappeared without having taken his car, wallet, or phone, his body was found in the woods near his home, hanging from a tree. KUOW reports that Keita’s death was initially ruled a suicide, but the cause of death has since been categorized as undetermined....

A hate crime, in Seattle?, What was he, a conservative?
If you’re going to hang yourself in the woods near you home, you probably wouldn’t take your car, wallet and phone. Just sayin’.

Maybe bacon left on the front porch and rung the door bell happened 3 times in 2015 but 5 times in 2016?
That would be a 67% increase. And the left would probably consider it a hate crime punishable by prison.
There are untold millions of us out here, diligently searching the shelves, looking behind boxes of the glamorous Sugar Slavered varieties, hoping to find a lonely box of unfrosted, pristine, Strawberry Pop-Tarts (or their generic equivalent)!

I am often amazed how an offhand comment can initiate the hijacking of a thread. The more brutal the story-line, the more more likely the hijacking. Must be some kind of defense mechanism . . .
Friend of mines son flew air ambulance in Iraq, sent him a box of Cohiba’s and a case of Pop Tarts. Little did I know what I’d started! To hell with the fine hand rolled cigars, they wanted more Pop Tarts. For a year and a half we kept his company supplied in Pop Tarts. Big hit for the troops all around. If your sending gifts to troops deployed always throw in some Pop Tarts, easy to carry.
My money is on “honor suicide.”
Give the father a lie detector test. Have it administered by someone who understands Islam. That would not be a person found in Seattle.

When I was in college, one morning a guy came downstairs and said he dreamed of Cherry Pop-Tart pie.
He’d never heard of the recipe but just for kicks, he made it.
put a layer of Cherry Pop-Tarts on the bottom of a baking pan.
Spoon on a thick layer of cherry pie filling
put a layer of Cherry Pop-Tarts on the top of a baking pan.
Bake. (kind of guessed at this point.
Years later, I told my kids the story and we’ve made it several times.
Good is a gooey, gross, supersweet way.
