Larry Lessig, a Harvard University constitutional law professor who made a brief run for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, claimed Tuesday that 20 Republican members of the Electoral College are considering voting against Donald Trump, a figure that would put anti-Trump activists more than halfway toward stalling Trump’s election.

Lessig’s anti-Trump group, “Electors Trust,” has been offering pro bono legal counsel to Republican presidential electors considering ditching Trump and has been acting as a clearinghouse for electors to privately communicate their intentions....

Hillary was “ahead” in the fake polls too. This is the same as the fake poll data.

I’m pretty certain that this is a form of ‘push-polling’ on the LEFTIST agenda. They have very few days, almost no facts, and are thus quite desperate! The LEFT keeps putting days on the calendar that I will be happy to see in my rear-view mirror. December 19th is now a goal for that picture!

More proof that liberalism is mental illness.

if they manage to deny Trump the 270 and it gets to the House l wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to see them pick “someone less divisive for the good of the country” like Ryan for instance.

“Odds on this nearly zero.

And the guy in Texas can be replaced by a majority vote of the Electors in the room. Probably will be.

There is a note in Texas law saying they can remove him by majority vote if he is found to be ineligible.

Eligibility criteria include “affiliated with the party”. The night before they can remove him from party rolls. Note it in the meeting, vote him out, vote in a replacement waiting outside the room, and no further problem.

To avoid lawsuit, simply return him to the party rolls after the Electors meeting. He will have suffered no damage and everything will have taken place within the law.”

Many thanks for the info and analysis!

This is why I no longer consider a Harvard degree as prima facie evidence of intellectual heft.

Lessig attended the U of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. As did DJT.

I thought Lessig was a prof *AT* Harvard?

Which implies (for the students there) "Garbage in, Garbage out."

Or did I misread the news article?
